Since I started using Alpecin all the time, my hair has thickened up and become much more manageable. It may be more expensive but the difference it makes is worth the extra, and actually you don’t use as much as a cheap shampoo, so it’s not as expensive as it first seems, especially buying in bulk

As my title suggests this shampoo is definitely not a miracle cure for hair loss. However, it is a known fact that caffeine does stimulate hair follicles and aids in strengthening and hair growth. Lack of growth may be attributed to all kinds of factors. If you are losing hair naturally it's more than likely it won't grow back. What this will do for you is to strengthen existing hair and stimulate growth giving the appearance of thicker hair. For Alpecin to work it must be used continuously - daily to see any benefits. It has worked for me and while it has not stopped hair loss it has slowed it. I was losing hair due to stress and age.

I’ve been using alpecin shampoo for at least 8 years now. Honestly, I can’t tell you how good it is compared to other shampoos, because I haven't used anything else in all that time! When I first started using it, it was due to hair fall, and it actually stopped my hair from falling out.Fast forward to today, and I still have a full head of hair. When people ask me the secret behind my beautiful, manly locks, I don’t tell them because it’s a secret! 😉

I'm only 17, and I've by no means lost any significant amount of hair, but I'm a paranoid person and I thought I saw the earliest signs, and seeing that my Dad and his Dad (although not my Mum's Dad, or my uncles on either side) both lost a significant amount by 40/50 there would be no harm in trying a preventative. I've only used it three times or so but it feels nice enough, and when I run my hand through my hair a few times instead of getting 1 or 2 hairs the first time and then none after I get maybe 1 after doing it 5 times, but then it's normal to lose like.. 150 hairs a day anyway... or something like that (Not that I ever notice that much). It's no miracle worker from what I can see, and I'm not really a good example- I've never even seen hairs on my pillow or anything like that (that other people have talked about) but hair does sort of seem to 'feel' stronger after use, whatever that means. It'll probably *help* as a preventative but not totally stop and I doubt it would help much with regrowth. It says that you should use it once a day... now although there'd probably be benefits from that it's never really a good idea to use any shampoo that often. I usually wash mine once every 3 days, sometimes I leave it as long as a week, it's just not good for the hair to be putting any sort of chemicals on it every day, I'd say once every other day is a maximum.Anyway, it seems like a good enough quality shampoo, and there's not much harm in trying it.

Well - packaged at a fair price. If you don't mind buying in bulk. A little goes a long way.
