Great stand
Holds my 27" with no trouble at all, the tilt requires no tools to operate, just an included allen key to adjust the force required which is a fantastic option to have. The screen also rotates easily with no tools or hassle and holds solid as a rock at any angle. Again the height adjustment is adjustable using the allen key and is more than strong enough to hold my light 27" monitor at any level, it doesn't just side down when touched and will take a very reasonable and safe amount of pressure before it does. Included are two sets of 4 screws for the VESA 75/100 attachment and I was very happy to see one set is actually thumb screws...not essential but I found very helpful when putting the monitor onto the stand, saves any hassle with a screwdriver. The whole base swivels on a round rail at the bottom which is a nice feature too I find. The base is nice and flat with rubber feet and no stupid pointless gimmicky shiney tempered glass surface like some listed. Why would you want to see the back of your monitor reflected below it? Anyway. To summarise I'd recommend this without hesitation and it's in a completely different league to all the other rubbish stands listed on the site. A miracle what a difference little bit of thought and good design can make.

Great for a 27" Acer VG270U P
Even though the item description says suitable for up to 24" monitors, this works great with a 27" Acer VG270U P. In the lowest setting the screen still sits clear of the base by 1 cm or so. There is no restriction to the normal angular pitch of the screen, and I can also turn the sceen into portrait mode. The spring can be adjusted to balance the weight of the screen perfectly. The style of the monitor and the base are also a perfect match. Well done Amazon with this great, sturdy, and afordable design!

Very good monitor stand, Easy to assemble
Took me less than 15 minutes to replace the regular monitor stand with this, fits great on the VESA mount of my curved display and the adjustability is fantastic. Great solution compared to a large desk clamped arm, only gripe is a very slight wobble on my desk but YMMV.

What Not To Like....?
After years of mounting a secondary laptop monitor on a fixed shelf I decided to buy a more sensible solution. The order was delivered a day earlier than expected, the packaging is appropriate and almost 100% recyclable.Assembly is straightforward with an easy to follow booklet included, the inclusion of an Allen key for some adjustments is helpful and it stows tidily under the base. One slight moment of awkwardness when attaching the VESA mount to the monitor, trying to wield a cross head screwdriver in a confined space was fun.The height adjustment can be fine tuned to accommodate the weight of the monitor with a simple turn of the Allen key.The assembled stand is stable and has a handy cable hole in the rear upright.Value for money appears to be good, I wish I had bought one years ago.

Excellent stand for any VESA monitor
PROS:Stand is very strong and can swivel sideways, up/down and tiltmonitor can be raised lowered on the standstand is more sturdy & better quality than most vendor monitor stands.CONS:Stand is quite heavy, so be careful lifting it!

One simple design flaw
This is a quality made stand and looks good and very simple to set up. However, it has one major design flaw. One point of these things is to hide cables surely...well look at the images and you will see no cables as there are none attached so I wonder if they have realised the flaw already? Attaching the cables & feeding them through the hole makes them visible because the hole is too low down. A good designer would have made the hole behind the actual monitor so about half way on the column...problem solved and it would become a 100% perfect stand.

Sturdy stand if your monitor lacks height or rotation
Here's another computer product in the generally well received Amazonbasics line.I have a Fujitsu Siemens LCD monitor that has no height adjustment (and limited screen angle) so I had to bolt a shelf to my (Swedish flat packed) desk to get it to the correct height for viewing (it's actually a couple of inches too high). While this gave me some extra room on my desk, it wasn't the best solution. The shelf also gets in the way of the AmazonBasics Single Monitor Display Mounting Arm.As with other Amazonbasics items, the packaging is cleverly kept to a minimum, while providing protection. The monitor stand comes in two parts. In a sealed, three compartment plastic bag are the various bolts for setting the monitor stand. They are labelled as well to avoid any confusion. There is a small, multi language instruction booklet that explains how to set up the stand and adjust the springs. The English part runs to 12 pages. On the underside of the base is a long allen (hex) key, with a wide handle (they call it a wrench). Do not lose this. It is used for bolting the riser to the base and adjusting the strength of the two springs that control height adjustment and screen angle. When the base and riser were bolted together the whole unit weighed 2.216kg. The framework is all metal, with exterior cladding of matt black plastic that looks better in real life than I thought it did from the product photos.Swapping over stands with the monitor was simple. My donor monitor has screw holes 10cm apart so I was able to use the four thumb screws to attach the screen. There is also an option to use four 10mm screws if you don't want to use the thumb screws (extra security). If your monitor holes are only 75mm apart, then you must only use the 10mm screws, not the thumb screws.Once together, I did have to adjust the riser spring, as the screen wasn't heavy enough to allow height adjustment (it kept going to the highest point). Once that was done, I removed the desk shelf, plonked the unit on the desk and plugged the monitor back in, remembering to feed the cables through the hole at the base of the riser to keep a tidy desk.Because the riser has a solid metal skeleton and springs, the base is on the large size, but this is needed for monitor stability. It's flat, but no lip, so you could put something on it if necessary. I ended up going with the full five inch height and this matches well with the Dell 24" monitor that's beside it. I also tried the swivel option, rotating the monitor 90° so to view my Facebook or emails (the setup I have at work). The rotation was smooth and no hint of wobble. I'd expect this riser stand to easily handle a 27" monitor (though I didn't have one on hand to try out).If your monitor doesn't come with an adjustable stand, or you don't have room or means to attach a (single/double) monitor mounting arm to your desk, then this may be what you need.

Wow!! Great purchase
Easy to assemble, sturdy stand. I purchased this to add some mobility to a television that I am using as a monitor. It’s great to be able to adjust the height as needed. The base is rather large but it’s understandable as it makes a solid base. I plan to purchase another for my ‘real’ computer monitor

The best 24" Vesa Stand
This is my second Amazon Basics Vesa stand and it's an absolutely amazing product. I use it to mount my 2 'gaming' monitors since I really dislike the gamer look of the stock stuff most gaming monitors ship with. Sorry but we don't all want an Alien looking, RGB, Red/Black, or huge spider arm monitor stand. I am able to use this with my 24" AOC vertically, and my 27" Acer 4K in landscape without issue.Pro:Extremely SturdyFully adjustable in height, tilt, pitchComes with all need accessories and tools for installation2 minute Installation, no instructions neededClean look, nobody will question professional lookCon:A little too cheap looking, too much plasticWish the color was more black instead of dark metallicWish it was a bit cheaper
