I had a small problem with my coffee machine the valve got stuck and the steamer wouldn’t work. I decided to try De’Longhi distilled water, and wow as soon as I poured it in and ran the steamer, everything cleared up immediately! I followed the instructions, rinsed a couple of times with water, and it worked like a charm. Honestly, this is just an excellent product really high quality and super effective. I’m so happy I tried it. Highly recommend!

It is almost half an amount required for my Lavanzza mode a mio espresso machine but I couldn’t find Lavanzza descaler within my budget . It gets higher and higher in price. I had tried this for mine . The effect was pretty visible . Well it did splash tiny dots in water . I had rinsed my machine 4 times with water until I didn’t see them. After that, I enjoyed my espresso so it seemed to have worked to clean my machine. I love my espresso machine so darely and my second version . It required a bit of courage as this is different brand but worked well.

Ive been using these for about 4 years now exclusively to clean my DeLonghi dedica machine as one came with the machine and they are officially recommended. I have had another machine ruined for using descaler of the wrong strength which can block up fine pipes inside if it descales too quickly. This ecodecalk work perfectly and living in a hard water area a filter and regular use of descaler are a must to preserve the pressure and life of a machine. No nasty smell, and descales perfectly from what I can see.

Depending on how you set your coffee machine (soft or hard water) will depend on how long this product will last you, but I can give you insight into how often I have to descale. I live in a hard water area, and it is quite bad. We are talking orangey/white limescale left on taps or sinks if not cleaned. I set the machine to hard water, and typically use this machine 5-6 times a week. I've owned this machine for 2 years now and I've cleaned it through twice. This bottle will give you 5 cleans in total, so by my usage, it will last approximately 4 years, maybe 5 if I'm lucky. You can work out for yourself based on your own usage but I've narrowed it down to around 250 espressos before it needs a clean, keeping in mind I live in a hard water area, it could be more for soft water areas (5 uses a week, 52 weeks in a year = 250 espressos). The bottle has markings to make correct usage easy to work out, and the entire process (a bit messy so make space) takes around 30 mins. Not the cheapest price upfront but a good price for how long it will last you it does exactly what you need it to do – and once finished allows you to drink espresso straight away.

I found the descaled instructions easy to understand and a very successful result.the machine works perfectly now.
