It is a very dangerous product. It causes a burning sensation on acne as soon as applied, but doesn’t stop there. After applying 3 times a day for 4 days, I noticed the pimple wasn’t getting any flat but the circumference of it kept increasing with it becoming further red and darker. After 4 days my pimples were looking like proper wound marks, something I have never experienced in my life before, very scary. The acne became much bigger and prominent. When I stopped applying it noticing the horrific damage it was causing to my skin, after a week the pimples got dried up but the redness/darkness didn’t go away, know it’s 3 months still I have 5 brown mark in my skin , I’m so nervous may they haven’t gone forever, I never had such a bad experience like this in my life , I thought this product is too effective for sensitive skin .

I use this with the origins spot treatment to try and clear persistent hormonal spots. It seems to work although strong and can cause mild skin peeling my skin got used to it quickly. I apply to my chin each night even though spots have largely cleared up now. It's definitely worth a try if you find even prescription products don't work.

I know that everyone has different skin, and I have tried many products over the years, but have found only this one to make an obvious and rapid difference. You only need a small amount on the spot itself, and it does dry it up really quickly, making it much smaller in no time; you could apply a larger amount to a bigger more stubborn spot, and it will work just as effectively; I have found that smudging the cream onto skin which is not affected, does dry the skin out, which suggests you must only applied to the affected area! what I particularly like about this treatment is that it dries on the skin as a completely clear layer; once I apply it, I allow plenty of time for it to be absorbed and dried, before applying a little moisturiser, and I have experienced no skin irritation whatsoever, speaking as someone who has sensitive skin at times. A bit pricey, but this really works for me, and I would definitely recommend this product, and I would purchase again!

This is my go to for killing spots. You don’t need much at all and the tube lasts for ages. It totally dries them out. Once they are going/gone you will need to moisturize as skin gets a little flaky but worth it to get rid of the spot quickly.

Works well but very strong on sensitive skin has given be burns before

Have been using this for years . I v rarely get spots pimples but when I do putting this on at the first sign dries it up . Works well on those under the skin painful spots too . Works for me for sure !

I bought this product after reading a lot of reviews on Amazon as well as on other blogs and websites. I’m not sure how good reviews ended up here at all. It is a very dangerous product. Later I could peel the skin off the acne and the acne mark and discolouration is still there. Avoid if you want to save your skin. I’m shocked if it’s ever been tested in lab at all. This can not be safe to use.

I received the product yesterday, and had what felt like 3 massive unsightly hormonal spots with no head. Applied the Murad spot relief only once yesterday after spending about 20 minutes with a hot tea tree compress on my face and although it did sting it wasn’t totally unpleasant, almost like it’s putting itself to work. I also used a different overnight product before bed with the same working principles. I woke up this morning and one spot has almost completely disappeared, but the other two although reduced in size, still look quite red. Today I will continue with Murad only and see where that gets me. I have quite sensitive skin so new products are always a tad scary. I’ve just healed a lengthy case of Perioral Dermatitis on my chin and nose and thankfully this product hasn’t caused any signs of aggravation. I only dabbed it on the area of the spot until absorbed rather than rubbing it into the surrounding area as not to engage the healthy skin. Only downside so far is the price, which I would grant worth it if I knew that this product is the one that’s responsible for reduction in size, but as I’ve used a combination of treatments so far, I can’t 100% pinpoint the hero.
