Absolutely beautiful, connected my Samsung G9 to my MacBook Air with ease, no struggles what so ever. The resolution is also very clear.

Very good quality, easy to use

I bought this cable to add a second display to my Mac Mini 2018 as it only has one HDMI port. Both of my monitors have DisplayPort connectors, but only one of them recognised this cable! This was not a problem for me because I always intended to connect one using a HDMI -> DVI cable, and so was able to swap the cables around to get both working. For reference my HP ZR2440w didn't like the cable (it flashed up check cable and was not detected by the Mac). This may have been caused by an annoying plastic lug at the back of the monitor that makes it difficult (or most likely impossible) to push the connector in fully. Presumably regular DisportPort cables are able to fit over the lug. In contrast my HP EliteDisplay E241i works perfectly well with this cable and was immediately detected as the second display by the Mac. It has nothing to obstruct the cable which is probably the only difference. I'm now very happy with my purchase, but have decided to drop one star as it appears to not be compatible with all monitors (at least in my experience). Before buying I would recommend checking that there is nothing protruding from your monitor below the DisplayPort socket. Otherwise it's a great cable and looks to be well made.

I use an M1 MacBook Air with a Dell monitor. It connects perfectly from USB-C on the macbook to DisplayPort on the dell. Doesn’t work via an unpowered hub, which HDMI does, but would work via a powered hub.

Amazing, I tried hdmi to dpi no success, then saw this lead, works brilliant, picture so much better and went to 165hz with hdr, wich wasn't possible with hdmi only. Recommend this product if you use a laptop which only has hdmi connection, use the USB c port to your monitor. Then change monitor settings up to the max if your monitor.

I have now two of these and it works reliably with my mac and an external monitor. Good quality build.

It's a great cable which works for it's intended purpose. Unfortunately it didn't do what I wanted it to do, and that was to connect two monitors to my thunderbolt laptop using MST technology. The laptop is a Windows laptop which supports MST and the monitors were configured correctly, however this adapter was unable to pass on the MST signal to the second monitor sadly. I did however find that It worked great for connecting my phone to a secondary screen which will come in handy at some point, so I'm keeping it!

Good to use. Still working. Did not get destroyed at higher resolution like USB-C to DP dongles do. Refresh rate works well. Users may some times face issues when starting laptop or when switching source on a monitor back and forth between sources or KVM like switching. When this is done, the monitor will disconnect it self on laptop being closed. Display connected through it will not be detected. Just restart the laptop twice and set the display through it as main. Tested on 2K monitor it works at higher refresh rates 140Hz+. My 4K gaming 240Hz. TV one does not have DP so could not test it. The sole reason for using this device is that the Display Port supports natively a higher resolution and refresh rate than HDMI 2.0. I already have tried two top of the line (and costlier) HDMI cables. This one delivers far better than the HDMI ones so I expect it to deliver what it states at 8K. I actually did not anticipate it would work. Good find.

Der Preis ist mehr als fair bei dieser guten Qualität. Ich habe früher ein anderes Kabel benutzt. Aber als ich zu einem 4k Monitor gewechselt bin, hat der Monitor oft geblinkt etc. Mit diesem Kabel läuft alles problemlos. Klare Kaufempfehlung.
