Yes. I use swan Morton blades in mine :).

Q: Where do you get replacement blades?

They are standard “xacto” style blades. Almost any model shop will sell them, and I’m sure Amazon will sell them.

Q: Is a utility box cutter knife okay too use instead of a craft knife thanks

If your asking if a normal box cutter is a good craft knife substute then ask your self this question: Does it do the same thing? The answer is yes, however not quite aswell. A good craft knife should be comfortable to hold for long periods of time while cutting intricate patterns in thick card. They are two different types of knives for two different purposes, one is designed to be rugged and hard wearing and to be used to cut card and harder materials. Whereas the other is made to cut fine details in card or sculpt wood. A utility knife is designed to be a one knife fits all knife wheras a craft knife is specifically designed to cut details for more aesthetic purpurses. In conclusion a box cutter can cut small details in paper, as well as a craft knife? NO

Should be OK for trimming so long as your not cutting thick plastic
