I've read a lot of reviews complaining that the plastic clips do not fit all the way around the steel posts. They are not supposed to until the shelves slide down onto them. It's called "compression." The shelves sliding over the clips tighten them and hold the shelves in place. It works great as long as you get all 4 clips at the same height which I did not. I had to put the unit together inside a small pantry because the shelving was just the width as described and the exact same width as the pantry. With little light in the pantry I managed to screw up 3 of the 5 shelves. Make sure you make get all 4 clips for each shelf at the same height. Once I corrected all my mismatched heights, it went together perfectly. I did use a small mallet for a little gentle persuasion (and I do mean gentle) because the shelf compressing the clips does make it a little tight.

This is my 2nd shelving unit from this "generic" manufacturer. The first one I purchased several years ago and has held up very well and still looks and functions like new. The second one I just purchased is from the identical manufacturer with an Amazon Basics logo on it now. Both units are built identically, both units have the exact same parts, both units had the exact same stamping on the little pieces. I have no doubt this one will hold up equally well. I plan to use this new one in the kitchen to organize my surplus of kitchen gadgets. The other one is in the laundry room holding the detergents and softeners and miscellaneous stuff.

Easy assembly and easy to follow directions. Using it as plant stand. Very sturdy.

I had gotten another Amazon shelf that I really liked. I like this one, too. But I didn't realize it doesn't have wheels like the other one. But it is sturdy and easily assembled.

Needed shelves for a small kitchen and these are perfect. Positives: 1. Sturdy with adjustable feet to help level the shelves if the floor is a bit uneven. 2. Easy to assemble, all parts included, although the assembly instructions are a bit confusing. In reality, the instructions aren't needed as assembly is pretty obvious. 3. Shelves fit snugly and evenly on the frame. 4. Cable tie and screw-in wall anchor included to secure shelf against a sheet rock wall to prevent tipping. I would use this if you have small children. 5. I put two of these side-by-side and secured them with black cable ties. 6. Shelves are rated at 200 lbs. each if weight is evenly distributed. I have about 50 lbs. on one shelve and it holds the weight easily with no slippage of the shelf and no danger of bending or warping. 7. Suggest ordering the shelf liners for these shelves. They provide a rigid flat surface for storage of smaller items. 8. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied. I have bought one of these before for use in my garage and will definitely buy again if needed.

Rating compared to other shelves I couldn't say 5 stars. It is rather flimsy, it wobbles some. It doesn't seem the most solid. Being made with plastic clips? That's right. Basically a plastic wedge encloses the leg, and the shelf wedges down over the plastic, with the plastic acting as a stopper holding the shelf in place. just a little worrisome considering I got this to place a few of my frog tanks on. The shelf arrived with all parts, nothing was broken or bent. I got it assembled fairly quickly and without issue. It's lightweight even though the metal legs feel solid and sturdy. Truthfully, it looks cheap and bland. Not the prettiest but it suits fine as a frog shelf. 🐸 ribbit

Very sturdy and easy to set up. Only took me 20-30 minutes to assemble. Im probably going to order a couple more of these.

Es la clásica estantería de varilla o alambre. Su ventaja es que no acumulan polvo y humedad en las baldas, son resistentes y ligeras al mismo tiempo. Además de su uso habitual en baños y cocinas quedan bien en estudios, lofts, áticos y oficinas. Al ser metálicas la carcoma o las humedades no las arruinan. Lo más destacable para mí es el sistema de ensamblaje, extremadamente ingenioso y sencillo a la vez. No se precisa de ninguna herramienta, nada de destornilladores ni llaves allen. Cada estante o balda lleva un anillo cónico en cada esquina; los montantes a su vez llevan unas hendiduras cada cierta distancia; se adjuntan unas piezas de plástico de perfil cónico que se colocan alrededor de los montantes a la altura deseada sobre una hendidura; entonces se desliza la balda desde arriba y la pieza plástica queda aprisionada por el anillo de cada esquina. El propio peso del estante hace que se quede todo sujeto. Tan sencillo como esto. Por supuesto se puede deslizar el estante hacia arriba y reajustar la altura a voluntad. Otro detalle es que llevan patas con pie de plástico, para no rayar el suelo, ajustables a tornillo individualmente. Así se pueden salvar las irregularidades del suelo y evitar que la estantería se bambolee. En el paquete se adjunta un accesorio para sujetarla a la pared y evitar vuelques. Son todos estos, detalles que demuestran que el diseñador y el fabricante se han tomado en serio su producto. La estantería es muy ligera. Cuando está vacía la puede mover una sola persona sin ningún esfuerzo.

Really study and firm shelve.

Simple to assemble without tools, surprisingly strong and very attractive chrome and black finish shelving. The price was amazingly low for the quality of the items.

Jag är nöjd med lagerhyllan, den var enligt förväntan, dock lite tunnare matrial än vad jag trodde, men den höll när jag (98kg) testade att sätta mig på ett av hyllplanen.

Ottimo prodotto. Ne avevo già acquistati due (un poco più profondi, per il garage) e devo dire che sono moto robusti e facili da montare. Il prezzo è ragionevole e valgono quello che si paga. Consigliatissimo.
