Xbox One S 500GB + Forza Horizon 3 & Hot Wheels DLC

Once you get games loaded this is a superb console. Graphics are stunning with very fluid motion and little pixilation. Obviously it depends on the game but there are plenty of great games and all the ones I've tried have been superb graphically, I use the 4k option and it is a worthwhile feature. Sound is excellent too. Set up is very straightforward and simple and the various controls are pretty intuitive. The controllers are easy to use and once you get the feel for them they work superbly, although as with most game controllers you need to get comfortable with them.So far so good however there is a rather big criticism I have of this console. If you have a disc you'd expect games to load from the disc but you'd be wrong. You have to install and it includes downloading updates that can be as big as the game itself. Try downloading a 22GB game via a normal internet connection and see how long it takes.....And if you try and speed things up by disconnecting from the net you run into other problems and get ordered to go on-line. Why can't they just allow a disc play option?Despite my criticism of the game download process and rather pointless idea of selling discs if it ends up taking as long to load them as if you just buy the download (i.e. a long time) I do love this console. Some terrific games, wonderful graphics and first class entertainment. Good value for money too although games can be pricey if you buy the latest titles, although certain shops sell older games s/h at very reasonable prices which slashes the cost.

Box that it came in VERY tatty, it’s a gift so have not opened it yet but am praying it all works. Arrived well in time

Brilliant product and great value for money. I had upgraded to the Xbox One S from the original clunky Xbox One. Main reasons were the size, colour, bundle, reduction in power and 4k video/stream capabilities. I will not be buying the Xbox One X as I am not interested in 4k gaming (even though it has been upscaled). This bundle which includes FIFA 18 is a great bargain, I also picked up the official Xbox One Play & Charge Kit.

The best thing I like about this console is the controllers. The controller's life isn't dependent on the life of a disposable a few quid lithium battery. Instead you have a multitude of options, you can use the charge and play kit (easy charging and play whilst charging if need be), or you can buy the best rechargeable batteries like the Panasonic Eneloops (buy a set of 8 and always have spares ready to go) or use disposable batteries. The choice is yours. Your controller is not simply ready for the bin because the sealed (cheap) rechargeable battery (which by the way is degrading the minute it was manufactured) is not holding charge. Sealed batteries is design decision to make your expensive electronics useless without a rip off solution. Imagine if cameras or drills had sealed batteries, having spare batteries was a common sense idea and years ago when folks used to actually think for themselves common sense was prevalent and one would never buy a product which would only last as long as the guaranteed failure of the cheapest component inside (the battery).

Upgraded from PS3 (bit late i know!). To me Xbox has always been a better ‘gaming’ machine and now with blu ray/apps etc is an all round entertainment system like the PS3 was. I came back to Xbox due to having to pay to play on PS4 so not really any difference between the two anymore. I prefer the xbox controllers. Games are good but loading times are ridiculous.

Happy but so many people got better deals on black friday, But the console is good and works well. Not happy that even if I have a disc I have to download it to the hard drive... I don't see that mentioned anywhere really. Takes up a lot of room and it makes even having a disc obsolete and pointless. Just stop making them and make it all downloadable content.

No power lead for the console. No lead for the controller. Can’t see a digital DL code printed. May be pre installed but that would require power. Someone played football with the box. Don’t worry though. Just a birthday present for a child. I feel conned! Edit the ‘as new’ machine doesn’t turn on. Not just a hiccup but a birthday ruined. Very, very poor.

Box in poor condition. No power lead. No instructions or information on how to obtain games that came with it. Console seemed fine but due to no power lead not not able to test. Returned item.

Ich finde das Produkt toll!Die Xbox wurde geliefert zwar erst nach einer Woche aber immer hin. (Diese Lieferzeit kam eventuell zu stande weil ich um die Weinachtszeit bestellt habe da hatte DHL liefer Probleme.)Forza Horizon 3, das Hotweels Bundle sowie 14 Tage Xbox live lagen als Download Codes bei.

Die Beschreibung des Produktes ist irreführend, da hier der Eindruck vermittelt wird, dass in dem Bundle-Paket die aufgelisteten Spiele als Game CD enthalten sind. Stattdessen befinden sich nur Freischaltcodes mit einer damit verbundenen kostenpflichtigen Xbox Live Mitgliedschaft. Hierauf hätte konkret hingewiesen werden müssen. Nicht passend zum Weiterverschenken geeignet!Abbuchung des Rechnungsbetrages erfolgte direkt nach Auftragsannahme, jedoch erfolgte die Bearbeitung und Lieferung erst eine Woche später. Ebenso nicht optimal.Die Verpackung wirkte eher privat und individuell, was wiederum auch Bedenken bzgl. der Professionalität des Verkäufers bei uns auslöste.Schade! So baut man kein großes vertrauen auf.
