I am very happy with this soap after 5 weeks of consistent use. I am dark skinned black and my skin is very tolerant to products. I would describe my skin type as normal, but I did experience some dryness at first. After a few weeks I started using Neutrogena hydro gel wash first which has hylauronic acid (hydrating active), and then washing my face with the kojic acid. I use once a day in my evening routine.I know longer experience any dryness after use. Overall my complexion has improved significantly, and I can see very visible changes in sunburn on my skin that I have had for 10 years. I expect to see great results in around 3-6 months. If you are trying to improve hyperpigmentation I would recommend a combination of tyrosine inhibitors in addition to this soap for maximum benefits. AHA and BHA exfoliation, Retinol and niacinamide are all part of my new routine and I am seeing great results. This soap has been excellent and I'm really glad I found it.

Used this for about a month, it does have a fragrance to it, I did not develop any irritation to the product, used it in the shower for about a month and saw zero difference in my complexion/ scars/ hyperpigmentation. It is a nice exfoliating soap but does not lighten skin.

Its very good for dark spots and adult acne but can't use too much time.

I've seen some youtube videos of this product and thought it was worth giving it a try.I have hyper-pigmentation on my elbows and knees so this is what I'm using it for.I've only used it a couple of times so it's too early to comment on the effectiveness of the product, however I have noticed a slight lightening on my knees compared to my ankles, which also have hyper-pigmentation but I've decided not to treat that area in order to see if the product will work.I'm going to perservere with it for 3 months more and I will buy more as the soap is quite small.I'll update once my experiment is over.

I had really low expectations but it was so cheap that it was worth a try. I love it so much now - I use it on multiple areas of my body. I had a lot of dark marks on my back (post breakout) that are all nearly gone and it's only been two weeks of use! I also use it on my inner thighs because for some reason that area was much darker than the rest. It helped, but it's not perfect yet, those discolorations are quite stubborn but I can see progress with time. I also use it on my elbows because they're dark and rough, and it also improved a lot. The soap smells great if you like fruity refreshing scents. It's quite drying so make sure to use a heavy moisturiser. Very pleased with the results. Skin feels much smoother too.

does not work at all. been using for months now! waste of time and money

It doesn't do what it says on the tin. It does not lighten hyperpigmentation. However, it gives an excellent clean and has reduced my medium facial and chest hormonal acne (with 3-4 times a week use). Very pricey.

Have been using this soap bar for over 8 weeks ... Can see absolutely no change in my skin ...so not sure how long you need to use it before you notice! I personally would not buy it again.
