I recently purchased this pressure-fitted stair gate, and I couldn’t be happier with its performance. Installation was incredibly easy, taking just minutes with the only tool needed being the included spanner. The pressure-fit mechanism holds the gate securely in place, making it a perfect choice for renters or anyone who wants a fuss-free setup. One of my favorite features is how smoothly it operates. The gate can be opened and closed with just one hand, which is a game-changer when juggling a toddler or carrying items up and down the stairs. The build quality is impressive - sturdy enough to withstand my active toddler’s attempts to climb or shake it. Even when he leans his full weight on it, the gate stays firmly in place, giving me peace of mind about his safety. It has green/red colour indicator near the latch to indicate that the gate has been fitted correctly and is secured in place. If you install the gate wrong, it will stay red until you rectify your mistake. The gate also has a little latch at the bottom so if you only want to open the gate in one direction, you can do so. Very handy feature. It’s high enough for my toddler who is 2 years old but, by the time he can climb over the gate… he shouldn’t really need it anymore anyway. Once that time arrives, the gate will be super easy to remove without damaging the wall and I will re-use it for my 2nd child. Price - I think it’s very fairly priced. Cheaper gates are available however, I like the build quality so I was happy to pay the tiniest bit more for this gate. Overall, this stair gate is an excellent choice for busy parents looking for convenience and reliability. Highly recommended!

I bought this for when my nephew stays over, thinking it would keep him safely contained. What I didn’t expect was that it would keep me contained, too. I understood the latch perfectly, but my weak little hands couldn’t actually make it budge. So there I was, a 34 year old adult, reduced to clambering over the gate every time I wanted to leave the room. Now, picture this: I am not tall. I am not graceful. What should have been a simple step-over looked more like a panicked walrus trying to flop over a sand dune. When my partner came home, he opened it effortlessly like some kind of majestic gatekeeper, while I stood there, sweaty, out of breath, and thoroughly humbled. This baby gate is sturdy, reliable, and apparently designed to withstand not only toddlers but also feeble-handed grown adults. Highly recommend if you want your child safe, your dignity shattered, and your calves accidentally toned.

So far it works well. Easy to assemble but it could have more height. Firm when well fitted and had no issue with the quality. Only downside that the box came ripped but luckily there was no damage on the product.

Solid and practical gate, we use it for dogs, the children climb over it now, but this equals or exceeds the gates we bought for them when the humans were babies, both in quality and value. The lock mechanism is tight (necessarily) but the tolerances are such that you can 'just' catch the lock to allow for easy access by adjusting the tension. The double one way catches are very useful.

The engineering equivalent of photocopying a photocopy, I'd rate it a 0 if I could. I'm sure whatever product is pictured in the manual (because it sure isn't this one!) is fine. However what I received is a piece of junk, with a mechanism that barely works, with tolerances so bad that the lock button completely jams the majority of the time. Even when the gate is disengaged and you press on the bolt, the button remains jammed while the bolt and slider move freely. Completely useless and unfit for purpose - unless you were wanting a structurally insecure half-wall instead of a gate. Avoid this landfill filler and buy something from a reputable brand.

Se instala fácil a pesar de que las instrucciones deberían ser mas claras, especialmente cuando se instala una extensión adicional. Tampoco queda claro donde va la almohadilla, si en el exterior o interior para ayudar con el montaje de la placa plástica contra la pared. En fin, a pesar de todo son muy útiles y resistentes para los niños. No la he probado con animales pero intuyo que igual de buenas.

Easy to set up and use. Took a little adjusting but really happy with it. It’s helped to establish a boundary for our dog and bunny and keep our stairs clear. Neat when opens out and the lock works well

Cette barrière de sécurité est tout simplement parfaite ! J'avais pris le temps de bien mesurer avant de commander, et grâce à ça, elle s'adapte parfaitement à l'ouverture. J'ai eu un petit problème lors de l'installation, mais finalement, en inversant simplement la position des fixations, j'ai pu l'installer sans avoir à démonter ma porte. Le résultat est impeccable, et la barrière est très robuste. Je la recommande vivement et je compte en acheter une autre !

Impedisce anche ai bimbi di oltrepassare quella soglia pericolosa che tutti abbiamo in casa come scale e stanze deposito dove non vogliamo entrino. Il montagio è rapido e poco invasivo, e dotato di gommini appositi per non rovinare le soglie delle porte.
