HTC U11 is superb
HTC is one of the most underrated brands.I bought my first htc in 2010 then went to an iphone and finally samsung.HTC is just a superior product and who know what they could have achieved if only people kept on buying their phones. The edge sense works well for me. I dont understand how the people who review then cannot get it right. Its like people who review cars, most of them seems to be unpracticle or unable to operate the object that their profession requires them to have mastered. The phone is very fast and the camera is excellent. Even the latest iphones of my colleagues cannot hold a candle and they are impressed with the quality, we use our phones to take pictures a lot onsite.Everything works and i get almost 40 hours out of my battery. The display is the only area where my samsung was better.I will definately buy another HTC when replacing this one.

Excellent product, query security
I am a HTC fan. This is the second phone I've ordered from this company. The first I couldn't download a banking ap, said my phone has been jailbroken. Contacted the company, they haven't replied. Amazon arranged a refund I ordered a replacement which cost more. Surprise surprise same problem. So either this batch has not been factory reset properly or else they come with a security risk.

Very pleased with this latest HTC
Very pleased with this latest HTC. Great sound quality, extremely fast, no apps have been a problem to run (including games). The game changes for me is the squeeze control. Two options, long squeeze & short with any function you want. I have camera on short squeeze (so the camera pops up without any password entry) and long squeeze I have set as the torch. The camera is excellent and it's got the all important micro SD card slot.A nice extra touch was a free dropbox subscription for 2 years :)

Terrible
Terrible phone and terrible customer service from both the seller and HTC. If you like a poor quality phone which lacks updates and customer support. If you want a secure updated phone then avoid HTC.

A beautifully flawed thing.
Without wasting too much time -I have ordered the U11 , and had it replaced twice already. Why you ask? I'll get to that soon.First with the good bits:- Blazing fast.- Superb battery.- Best camera I've used on a phone (and I've already owned and resold the S8)- Don't believe the bezel frenzy. The design is beautiful, and the phone is a joy to look at and use.- Good bluetooth connection for speakers/headphones.- Have not used the phone's headphones, cant' judge on sound. Now the reason for the returns/replacements.All three. ALL three of my black units have had dead pixels. I've ended up keeping the one where it's the least pronounced so far, hoping to get a unit that doesn't have dead pixels (is it too much to ask in this day and age?)To be fair, I've even started a walk across my fav London places and looked at U11s on display - silver, blue. They all have the odd dark dot here and there, which makes me feel that this is a manufacturing fault. Maybe the squeezable thing makes it happen, maybe it affects transistor connections.I don't know what it is, but chances are - you either know you have dead pixels, or you don't because you haven't looked. Those who do not count your blessings. I've seen examined over 10 devices, and they all have them.Even with that flaw, I am considering keeping the last of the three rather than refunding - because one very other account, it's simply a magnificent phone.2 stars knocked off because HTC should get the basics right, like a good, healthy display.Pictures are attached were taking by the phone in night time, and minimal room lighting - the camera is that good.If any of you have a color without dead pixels at all (provided you know how to look for dead pixels) please leave me a comment*Update*I have added pictures of dead pixels from three different U11 handsets. I have contacted some ebay sellers, and they have told me HTC does not consider 3 to 5 dead pixels a flaw. Some, however, are happy to exchange even for a single one. Make of this what you will; personally I am and always have been an HTC fan, but I would not tolerate even a single dead pixel on a 650 pound device.

The best on the market
I was a bit hesitant to buy this phone after reading the reviews but I am glad I have. It is honestly the best phone Ive had and seen. The picture quality and sound quality are excellent. I am really impressed with this phone and would recommend it.

Terrible media playback over bluetooth.
Bluetooth connectivity is poor, with media playback intermittent. It's actually a really nice phone, with the exception of the bluetooth, the performance is great. Unfortunately, the problems using the phone to play music or podcasts are really severe. I've tried contacting HTC but no response as yet.If the bluetooth gets fixed in a later update that will help, but for the price you'd really expect it to work straight out the gate.

My favourite phone ever
I've only today noticed that I've had this phone for a whopping 3 years now! It's still fast, reliable and the battery life pretty good for a phone that age nowadays.
