I just received my package. Pictures are beautiful. I've been embroidering for more than 60 years. My 1st impression is that I'm going to love it. Butterflies are my favorite thing to make in ALL types of crafts. Only disappointment right away is the 8 to 10 needles were ALL broken. Luckily I have dozens of my own to use, but wasn't too happy they spilled out of the tiny bag that was full of tear holes, and I had to scramble to find all of the pieces (23 pieces that I found) on the floor while trying to keep my 6 lb puppy from trying to get to them. You need to find a better, sturdier way to package them.

I have so far only started one of these kits, however I have quickly found that at least one of the thread colors is not enough thread for the project. It is not DMC thread so not sure how I’ll be able to get more thread of the same color.Other than that, they are very cute and decent quality fabric.

I’m pretty new to embroidery so this one was very hard for me. I did it in 7 days. I switched out some of the flower colors because the color in this pattern was ugly. I watched a few you tube videos to see the best way to do the butterfly. That was helpful. I made a lot of mistakes but still think it’s very nice.

Really simple stitches needed and not fully cotton thread provided. Watch the temp of your iron if you iron it. I found that at the cotton setting (which should have been fine for most embroidery thread) it was getting a bit melty.

I bought these for a weekend with my momma. And like old times we sat around and did these. It took a awhile to remember the stitches. The packet has instructions, so that’s amazing, but it’s a little hard to determine where to put the shading in the flowers, there’s no lines, so If you’re not sure how to use different colors to shade, may not be for you. HOWEVER, It’s such a great price and comes with everything you need except scissors. Highly recommend. I’m not finished with mine yet, but I’m loving it so much
