63db on metal mounted in a suction vice, 60-114db on glass sheet, 4mm x2000mm x 2000mm. A rotary engraver makes a lot more noise

Would this engrave onto a zippo?

Yes, assuming the metal surface is firm otherwise go gently and keep the zippo still. Good luck
