Bought for my son for a holiday in Turkey, where last year he got bit a few times using a cheaper band. He did not get one bite and the mozzies were still there, just obviously put off by the band. Perfect for our 4 year old, he loved his funky snap band and was sad to take it off after the holiday, it's colourful and fun looking as well as effective. Although a little pricey, I think it's worth it and will be buying again for our next trip and would recommend others to spend the extra on these for the little ones! I may even get myself one lol

Worked better than expected.

This slap-band was a great way to get our 4yr old involved in putting on his mosquito repellent on a recent trip to Africa. It's easy to set up, open the foil packet and slip the citronella impregnated strip into the wrist-band and then give to toddler so that he can slap it wound his wrist! We talked to him about the mosquitos and how he needed to have his repellent on when going outsite as the sun was setting and pretty much every day he would come and tell us that the sun was setting, asking for his wrist-band and mozzie repellent. While I'm not convinced that the band did a lot to repel mosquitos, it did make for a much more engaging routine that halped ensure he was protected as well as possible. We kept it in the supplied foil zip-lock when not in use and it lasted well over the 2.5 weeks we were away, with some scent left after If you've got a toddler and you're going somewhere with mosquitos this is a really good way to get them involved and help them understand about protection from the mosquitos. If you're going somewhere with malaria, you should still get anti-malarial medicine.

Easy to use. My child left it on and it didn’t bother her. No bites.

So my review on this is a mixed bag.. Bought this for my little toddler, and, he never actually got any bites when using (or when he didn't as a matter of fact) Tried to not use this very much on him as he is only 2 years old, even though this was a more natural product than DEET based ones, was still cautious. So we didn't actually buy enough spray for myself and the wife, so decided to just use the toddlers repellent, though can't actually say that it worked any good at all, at least for us adults, we were still getting eaten alive. As said, my review is a mixed result - on my toddler, he didn't get bit at all, on adults we still got bit. Unsure if mosquitoes don't like toddlers blood or not so I'm still questioning if this repellent is actually good, or mosquitoes just prefer adult blood as it contains more sugars etc?

Very very effective. I've bought these for the last 3 holidays and I must so it's very good. Does what the description says! My children did not get bit at all. We've been to Spain, Turkey and Barbados. We place one on their right arm and one on the left leg A must buy! Thanks

My daughter loved being able to wear a bracelet and for me one less cream to worry about putting on as you just put the bracelet on, after she had a shower whilst getting ready for dinner. We’ve just been in Spain and there were lots of mosquitos, but thankfully no bites. Very happy! We put in back in the little sealed foul pouch after we got in and very strong smell to it after two weeks. Brilliant buy!!

We've been using this as adults, when travelling in south America. Overall good result, apply daily before sunscreen and it gives very good protection. Sprays are too wasteful and end up everywhere but on your skin. This feels like it lasts as it absorbs easily.
