Hot Wheels DWW95 Track Builder Stunt Box, Connectable Tracks and Mini Toy Car with Track Set, Multicolour

My son loves hot wheels, so this was a great idea for a birthday gift. It comes with track pieces, corners, launcher and other accessories and instructions to create a few different tracks to play with. The box and lid can also be used as part of tracks and they are all compatible with other hot wheels tracks and playsets. The track connector pieces are more robust and easier to take apart than the older sets, which were inclined to bend when you took them apart and the track itself has slightly deeper sides which helps keeps the cars in better. My son already had a track builder starter pack as well as quite a few other sets so we were able to make lots more games and challenges. The box is a good size while still being compact and does fit quite a lot of additional track (unfortunately not as much as we have) so would make a great set with storage for starting out a collection.

3.5 year old loves it! A really good introductory and standalone Hot Wheels product at a great price, especially considering the play value and multi-use. It is a well thought out product with the box used for both storage and to set up stunts. My child needs adult help to connect and disconnect pieces, but has learnt after one day how to reset the launch pad. Lots of configuration options - there's a booklet with instructions on how to create 4 different layouts, but there are other possibilities too. Another bonus is the bricks, which I believe can be added to with Lego for endless play and learning fun. I recommend for any child who loves cars, trains, engineering, etc.

It's a pretty good starter set but that's all it is, a starter set. You really need to buy some more track to get the most out of it. Good way to test if your kids like it before commitng to any bigger sets. My kids do love it (2 and 3) but they are a bit young to appreciate as much as I do!

Having quite a few of the main hot wheels sets I needed some track – when I looked it was £10-12 for a few bits of track so this set represents great value as you get a carry box and a launcher for a few pounds extra. As a stand alone this is a great starter kit as comes with a car and multiple set up configurations. My son and I love making different routes and tracks and the best bit it all fits away in the box keeping things tidy. A no brainer if you have or like hot wheels !

Purchased this for my four year old as a treat, I've played with it with him and it's a great little track with the potential to make it even greater with add-ons. I like that there is multiple options for track building, and that you can tidy it all away within its own box and it's all kept together. My only criticism is that it is extremely hard to take it apart if you want to either tidy it away or rebuild. The little blue pieces that hold the tracks together are extremely good at their job and there is no way we younger child could rebuild it without help from about adult. I'd buy it again, though. We've had hours and hours of fun with it and the added bonus of being able to add lego is great!

My 4year old loves this. It has loads of play value as you can make many tracks. It keeps him really quiet as it fits together so easily he can do it by himself. He now wants others to put with it to make even bigger tracks.

This went down well, and is easily stored away when not used. Value for money when you want a loop and a bit more track to play with

Im Einkaufszentrum einmal gesehen und eher mit Skepsis betrachtet, war ich doch anfänglich von dem beworbenen Produkt wenig angetan. Meine Kinder haben sich dann dieses Set von ihrem Taschengeld gekauft und ich muss all meine Zweifel zurücknehmen. Es ist ein ganz tolles und vielfältiges Spielzeug. Allein mit dieser Kiste hat man eine Menge Möglichkeiten immer wieder neue Strecken zu bauen. Kinder können richtig toll experimentieren und Steckbausteine lassen sich auch noch damit verbauen. Man kann das Ganze mit anderen Sets der Hot Wheels Reihe kombinieren und muss dabei nicht immer Unmengen an Geld ausgeben, da es auch kleinere Sets gibt. So haben die Kids auch einen Anreiz dafür zu sparen, weil die Set Preise nicht gleich utopisch für das erste Taschengeld sind. Verstaut ist das Ganze dann in der dazugehörigen Kiste, die auch als Streckenelement mit verbaut werden kann. So lässt sich das Ganze auch mit zu den Großeltern nehmen. Dieses schöne Spielzeug kann ich uneingeschränkt für Grundschulkinder weiterempfehlen.

Great little starter set, my cousin and family friends kids had a blast joining this up with some other Hot Wheels tracks. the rubber band powered launcher is also quite fast!

Got this for my 4 year old nephew who already has a number of Hot Wheels tracks and cars. I was thinking this product would make use of the existing ones as well, but yet to experiment. Quality is excellent, and worth the price. The manual helped me assemble the first stunt in 5 minutes, although the kid was unable to do it himself. The manual has multiple stunts and gives options to experiment with more. This feature is very important and appreciated. Unlike previous track sets, here, the car comes back in a loop so no need to jump around, if a kid is playing by himself. The container itself doubles as part of the setup. Again, unlike earlier sets, it's easier to join the tracks using the connectors. My only concern is with the rubber-band based launcher - over regular usage, it might snap or lose its elasticity. I still gave 5 stars because maybe I can get similar bands otherwise.
