brilliant
I can't believe how this soap cleans! I mixed up a spray bottle (before reading that you must use a foaming soap dispenser) with a mix of 1 part soap to 10 parts water, I thought it would be a real test to clean my greasy sink, usually I scrub it with Vim and it is a chore I hate, but a little of the mix on a dish cloth and the grease just wiped away, I couldn't believe my eyes, so easy. Then I cleaned my taps......all the stains and water marks just vanished, and those taps were so bad I was thinking of buying new ones. I spent the rest of the day going back to admire my sparkling sink. This soap is wonderful, I use it to clean everything and can now empty my crowded under sink cupboards of the multitude of cleaning and anti-bacterial sprays (Dr Bronner's soap kills 99% of germs). The Lavender is divine, I can't wait to try the others. It is gentle to the skin, washing with it or washing the dishes doesn't leave you reaching for the moisturisers. This is what our grandmothers used in a time before we were all seduced by the chemical industries into using harsh cleaners, shower gels, bath cremes, etc etc, all laden with nasties.I have used it as a spot cleaner on the laundry (I use an eco egg, no detergent) it worked better than the purpose cleaner from supermarket - removing lipstick stains which the named brand didn't. I use it to clean all surfaces in kitchen and bathroom, and on me in the shower. I haven't yet tried it as a shampoo, if you do then I think a rinse with vinegar or lemon juice would be needed, I can remember my mother always doing this pre-commercial shampoo. There are many recipes on the internet for home made cleaners and cleansers, many of them call for castille soap and vinegar......do NOT mix these two together they completely cancel each other out. Dr Bronner's grand daughter has a blog for anyone interested and she has answered many questions regarding their products

Use it for EVERYTHING
Oh, Dr Bronners, how I love thee. You clean my house, my body, my baby, my car. You smell delectable, not like a nasty chemical spray. You can be diluted so you last ages. You don’t cause allergic reaction like so many other chemical cleaners.

Absolutely wonderful product, a 5* brand
This is a review for This Lavender Organic Castile Liquid Soap 946ml. By Dr Bronner. an FBA item @ £16.99 as on 01/11/2016.This bottle came in a cardboard box (Recyclable), with other items. The bottle itself has a seal under the cap.We have bought this soap for a while now, but this is the first time we have tried the Scented variety. Having now used it, i've got to wonder why it is we never tried it before. This is shear decadance for anyone like my wife and myself, who love natural products. The smell is absolutely gorgeous and the lather it creates is fabulous. It's that good, that my wife has asked for a bottle of the Rose fragment one for Christmas. I agree and i have asked her for a Citrus one too.All the ingredients are of Natural origin and the liquid is fragranced with essential oils. Of course the bottle is made of plastic, but once empty, it can be used again and again. We both use this mask of Castile liquid soap for everyday use and in so many things too. Check it our on the internet. There is No down sides to this product and i fully recommend it. It's great 5*You can check out my other reviews by clicking on my name BRIAN WOOD at the top, you may just find something your really looking for..I really appreciate you taking the time to read my review. I hope you found it a help, in making your decision of wether to buy or not. Thank You

Dr Bronner's liquid soap
At first, l was not sure about this soap. When it arrived, l though that the contents, looked watery and resembled, muddy liquid. When l used it, it felt a lot more, like the consistency of soap. I remember that manufacturers, often thicken liquids with salt. Example, shampoo, hand wash and washing liquids. Perhaps salt in this, has been omitted, or reduced. A little goes a long way. It does lather up well. I have a good sense of smell, at first l registered a carbolic odour. Then l detected the lavender smell. It does clean well, although it is a little drying. It might include a cooling agent. Another manufacturing trick, to make you feel clean and fresh. You do feel fresh after use. I tried it on my hair but needed a conditioner as well. It is very versatile and can be used, for a few purposes. After a couple of showers, my skin started to itch slightly. Probarbly due to dryness. I will have to use a moisturiser, or alternate the effects, by using another body wash. I do like it though. Maybe l will try the Rose next time, as l love that scent. It is around a PH level of 7. Lemon juice is usually used, to reduce the PH alkaline value. You get a good size bottle as well......... verdict! I like it.
