Watching films on my IPad in bed was uncomfortable, a real strain on my neck - I needed it to be positioned at eye level but didn't have anything I could use to do it. I saw this product on Amazon ( I didn't even know there was such a thing, lol) and remembered I had an old tripod for my camera that I no longer used. I attached this mount to it in seconds and hey presto! problem solved. It is a snug fit for my IPad Air and I don't have any problem with it not staying in place. It is not going anywhere. It will also be great for taking photos or recording video on your iPad, if like me, you have an unsteady hand. Excellent device and at excellent price! Highly recommended.

Whilst this mount holds my 9.7inch iPad pro, it is not held totally securely as the grips do not adjust themselves so you push the iPad sideways within the mount itself when fitted. Having said that, it is extremely easy to slot into the mount and when on your tripod, does the job. Great value for money and would have given 5 stars if the grips could also tighten.

Chosen for use to hold Ipad Mini 4 on old Tripod to allow video and sound recording of event. Worked well and held the Ipad Mini in landscape mode perfectly.

We use this on top of a tripod for my wife to watch streaming while on her exercise airwalker. It’s simple to use and strong. Takes an iPad mini or similar size. Also good on a desk tripod as a Zoom monitor for the same iPad Wasn’t sure what the build quality would be like as other similar purchases have let me down recently but this is well made and should last a good while.

This item is well made and arrived promptly. I have no problems with the holder per se, except that I was under the impression (probably didn't look at the photos well enough) that it would swivel to accommodate different sizes of tablets in portrait form. If you, like me, are expecting it to do this then do not buy as it is a rigid structure and does not turn. Otherwise, it is strong enough to hold my tablet horizontally, I might use it if I can change my documents to read that way, or I might keep it until I get a smaller reader.

I have been using this with my iPad Pro, and while it's a great quality attachment - I can only use it in landscape orientation. My tripod can tilt 90º to make it portrait for vertical filming but there is no support under the ipad to hold it in place when I do that. In general it is very adjustable to fit various devices and fits securely and easily onto a standard tripod mount. Definitely worth the money if the size limit isn't a dealbreaker.

At first it seemed that the locking mechanism was too simple but in fact it is simple and effective. In these lockdown days of online training, meetings, calls etc this is an excellent device tonallow you to use Gorilla or standard camera tripods. Well worth the money.
