Review: Sceptical of running with a belt on - but now a convert! - After accidentally introducing my trusty Mp3 player to a washing machine and tumble dryer, I found myself faced with the daunting prospect of running using my smart phone on an arm strap. 2x problems here - 1) Like most modern smart phones my Xperia Z1 is rather large. 2) As a 200lb male that hits the gym 5 -7 days a week, so are my arms! Enter the FinBurst solution - a discreet, thin bum-belt type thingy, with 2 zippy pockets and a silly name. At just under £12, it was worth a punt...... 10 runs down the line, I'm delighted with it. Once adjusted, it really does keep itself (and the phone) securely in place, and like other reviewers, you really do forget you're wearing it. I'm no marathon runner, but it copes easily with my 40 - 60 minute jogs. Regarding the waterproofing, I've done 2x 1hr runs in light to medium rain, with the belt worn underneath a running top, and on both occasions the belt contents have remained totally bone dry, even with my wired headphones trailing from the zip. However PLEASE NOTE: the manufacturer sells this product as SPLASH PROOF, (and excludes the zips), so you'll be running in the rain at your own risk - should you choose to take this out with you. Regarding the longevity, it's a piece of stretchy material, on a webbing belt, with 2 zips and a well-made plastic buckle not dissimilar to those found on military issue tactical belts. It looks well put together, and I'm quietly confident it'll last a fair few outings, but to be honest, at this pricing point, I wouldn't expect that we'll be handing it down for generations to come! Review: Very good, but some slight design changes needed - Will your phone fit in this? I'd have to say it's very unlikely that it won't. The way the belt expands to fit things in is quite ingenious, and the fact that it has 2 seperate pockets means you can also carry keys or whatever without the risk of your phone getting damaged. The belt weighs almost nothing, and is very comfortable to wear. So why only 4 stars? Well there are a couple of things that a quite annoying. The first is that to get your phone in the belt whilst you are wearing it is actually very fiddly, so if you want to stop, and get your phone out to make a call or take photos, you then get frustrated trying to get it back in, especially with a big 5+ inch screen phone. The second, is that the adjustment buckles slide far too easily along the belt, so while you're trying to get your phone back in the belt, the whole thing ends up getting looser. This can also be a problem if running off road where the belt is bouncing up and down a lot - the problem is once it starts moving, it just keeps working looser. I'm sure this shouldn't be a difficult fix for the next version. So if you're planning to put your phone in this, put it on and then not touch it until you get back it will work very well. If you want access to whatever you put in it, it may end up round your ankles.

A well thought out design. Great bit of kit.
Really good well designed running or hiking belt. Intially considered the larger belts with water bottles, etc, as planned to do longer runs, but in practice I tend to cover shorter 3 - 4 milers during lunchtime, and this is perfect. Sits comfortably on the waist, and fits under a t-shirt or jacket, even with items in the pockets so you barely notice you are wearing it. The main reason was to carry my phone as i didn't want the armband style case and started using a HRM which works with the phone, also locker key, swipe card, etc, which this accomodates no problem. The belt is really well made and good quality, the adjustable part of the straps are elastic and easy to adjust, stays in place during a run. There are 2 pockets one large one small which are designed to expand but automatically fold back down when not in use. Easy to access the pockets, even mid-run, a well thought out design.

Good product just a little durability issue
Seemed a well build and worked well for a fair few months of regular use but then zip broke on one of the pockets. Did get a bit of bounce if you had much more then a phone in there weight wise but not bad.

Versatile and comfortable
This running belt offers a very aligned fit to the body for my mobile phone and other items. My iPhone X with a case fits snugly and with ease and stays in place when running. There is considerable versatility of the belt with a second pocket for other items I need to keep separate from the phone to avoid scratches likes keys. The belt is very secure and stays in place despite hill climbs and other movements. I do not feel it on my body when worn over my shirt or shorts and it is highly recommended. Excellent product and well priced.

Great running belt! The belt can be made to fit uk size 8 easily.
I bought this belt for running. I was unsure about the size of the belt as I'm a small female. I wear uk size 8 most of the time but occasionally wear smaller (have some trousers size 6 and girls aged 15 years!). I used the recommended tips on the card on how to make the belt smaller as it would have definitely been too big for me without them. I would not have automatically known how to make the belt smaller without the tips though. I love the belt! I have wore it out running about 5-6 times now and its fantastic, it holds my phone, a 200ml soft water bottle and couple tissues no bother. It could hold more but this is what I needed it for. Its small and tidy so doesn't feel bulky on - you can see it on me in the picture (middle person). I would recommend this and if you need it smaller read the tips on the packaging! Thanks! :)

Insomma buon prodotto, soddisfatto. I materiali sembrano buoni.

2nd Update: I already received the replacement today for the belt and I tugged quite a bit on the stitching to see how secure it is. Seems just fine and I am excited to have another one. I may add some seem sealant just as extra security and this is not a reflection on this belt in particular. I will likely do this for any item like this as an extra measure. I will be using this right away and am happy to have one once again UPDATE: I meant to make a point that I think this issue is due to a defect and not something that the product likely has an issue with often at all. I have only seen one other person with this exact issue. I just happened to be the lucky one to get a defective one? Anyway I am being sent a replacement and will give this a good test. I am hoping this does not happen again. After some testing I will update my review...I am hoping to 5 star this since I did really love how it felt, fit, and fit my large phone. I was very please with the belt when I got it. It fit my S6 active great and the instructions to fit it to a smaller person were great and worked just fine. I went for a short run with only my phone in it and the phone almost fell out because the stitching from the belt to the pouch had come out and the zipper busted open. If I had been on one of my big trail runs over cliffs and rough terrain for any distance I would have lost my very very expensive phone which I cannot afford to replace. I am disappointed I only got to use this ONCE and now have to throw it away. If shipping it back wasn't so expensive I would send it back for another one, but I don't feel I should have to spend the money to send back something that was made badly and was not my fault.
