Water bypassing the filter
Was give the squeeze bottle as a gift. Within 1 month of usage, the straw broke so ordered a replacement. Screwed it in and now can't get a good seal, tried multiple times but to no avail. What's the point of advertising drink from any water source when the filter gets bypassed? Update: I'm not changing my stars but I have fixed the issue. This worked for me… Take the black suction nipple off. Make sure the white "gasket" is in firmly. Screw the cap on. Screw and push at the same time the replacement filter until the filter can not be tightened any further. Make sure you do not cross thread the filter. This may take a few attempts. Undo cap and replace the suction nipple. Try. If the filter is still bypassing, undo everything and try again. If done correctly, you should get a vacuum when drinking.
