I don’t really do reviews but am making a exception on this. My old blanket was amazing but it burned out after almost 20 years. I got this due to the good reviews. It was a mistake. After using it twice the wire stiffener come out of the blanket and has hot looking spots were it looks like it will burn out soon. My old blanked fit on the pipe by its self and stayed there, this thing you need to fight the blanket around the pipe and strap it in place, the blanket is so stiff that the ends of the pipe don’t make contact and it only heats the center. This consistently leaves a hot spot in the middle and a kinked pipe is the result. This is not well designed and proforms poorly as a result.

I bought 2 of these heat blankets.1/2" to1-1/2" and a 2" to 3" blanket in 2016. I'm a sole proprietor and don't use these every day or beat them up. Neither lasted longer than 4 years with light use. Would not buy again. They simply stopped heating sufficiently to warm the conduit enough to bend.

I had used the major brand blanket for 15 years, but thought I would try this about 8 yrs ago. After ~6 years one of the straps broke, but it was used hard and often. I have bought 2 more since then and had good luck with them as well.

Works well on small conduit

I have used heating blankets before. Needed one for smaller conduit. This worked perfect for 1 inch pvc K was installing.

Works fast easy to place on PVC pipes! Also, made in the USA.

Blanket heats very well. The only down side is that it is short compared to a greenlee heating blanket. But for the price I would still buy it again.
