I didn’t know what to expect when I purchase this lampshade. When it came in I was So pleasantly surprised at how much prettier it is in person, the quality, the sturdiness. I really didn’t know what to expect because it isn’t a traditional lampshade but I have to tell you if it fits your decor it is absolutely stunning. My next purchase is going to be the dark blue one. I need to find a base for it to fit on for a perfect fit/size. This green one is mine blowing beautiful. It is a nice lamp shade. Not recommended for active children. They will have it broke. The frame of the shade is 3/32 acrylic. Sturdy enough to hold the shade. Not for any knocking around. The one we purchased was for a UNO mount. It was the right size for a UNO Lamp socket. That being said most people who purchase lamps at a big box store will find this shade will not fit. The socket may look like an UNO. But in reality it is a european socket and is larger. Thus you will need to dremel the inside mount hole bigger.That being said my wife and I like the shade. It matches the color scheme she has. Yes as some one commented when you turn on the light the shade colors are distorted. I say the only time the light is on is at night and the rest of the time it is off and looks just fine. Also if you plan on using this type of shade in say a goose neck floor lamp with the shade mounted above the bulb be very careful about the wattage of bulb you install. The frame is plastic and will melt if it gets too hot.

UPDATE: After a few days being on the lamp, there is now an obvious flat spot on the shade. I am adding a picture. I would turn it to the wall, but that arrangement would turn the seam to the room. Such a disappointment. I have removed another star.The shade is absolutely gorgeous. The drum is substantial and the fabric used to cover it is sumptuous and goes perfectly with my vintage lamp. BUT, the interior armature is brittle plastic. In screwing the finial onto the harp very carefully, I cracked the armature—very disappointing.Trying to figure out now if I can re-engineer this shade with a metal frame.Too expensive for this struggle.

Looks pretty whether on or off. Receive compliments about the shade all the time

Product arrived timely. Beautiful pattern - true to photo and matches my room well. Very pretty. Problem is frame is plastic and cheap. It cracked when trying to adjust it to the harp frame of my lamp. Metal frames would not have done that, but this one is plastic. It's currently being held in place by the finial, but slightly crooked because of the unadjustable, unbendable, plastic frame

The media could not be loaded.  We like the look but The cheap plastic insert falls apart very easily. I might have to super glue it if I decide to keep it. Nit what I would expect from a forty five dollar lamp shade

I wouldn't call this sturdy. It is extremely lightweight - which is one reason I wanted it, considering the base it was going onto. I didn't want it to overwhelm the base. The decorative wrap, hopefully stays in place. Don't know if it's wipeable if something spatters onto it, as this isn't a glass or fabric. The box accommodated the shade very well, so I was puzzled why there was a noticeable pinch in the shade. There is clear plastic at the top of the shade to form it but also to slide onto the lamp base. It looks beautiful. I appreciate the stunning array of options. But since it arrived with an unexplainable and easily discernible pinch to it, I wonder how durable it will be. The pinch isn't worth a return/replacement. At least I'm not in the mood to do so.
