Get one for yourself and one as a gift!
I love puzzles, and this scratched an itch that others don't. I got one for myself and then purchased another to gift to a friend!Fitting the pieces together doesn't come from recognizing pictures or patterns (there is no pictre), but the forms of the pieces. The puzzle looks deceptively simple, but assembling it makes you appreciate the nuances and subtle variations in the pieces. The iridescent film adds to that subtlety for a whole unique and fun experience. Like other reviews have mentioned, I just leave the puzzle out on my counter to see the colors change over the course of the day.Would highly recommend (and will buy as a gift again)!

Most confounding puzzle ever! Addictive!
This is such a fun puzzle - and it will stump your puzzle-loving friends. Beautifully designed and nice to leave out so your friends are enticed to give it a try. Made me crazy (in a good way)!

Great gift!
I bought this as a gift for my dad and he loved it! It is a very unique design and wasn’t something he had seen before. Also, with it being compact to pack up it’s easy to travel with which is an added bonus.

Impossibly hard
This puzzle was so hard, and not just because I was high doing it. My partner and I tried it for hours and would’ve never gotten it had we not finally looked up the solution. Idk..gl

Not exactly a standard puzzle, but good none the less.
To start, this isn’t exactly a standard puzzle, regardless of how it looks. Each piece has only 1 of 4 cuts: flat, small, medium, and large. This makes it so each piece can fit into many other pieces instead of only having one solution. The kit comes with 49 pieces and a small instruction paper. The standard way to solve it (pictured) uses all 49 pieces with the square piece in the center. According to the instructions, you can also make a 3x3 and 5x5 solution from the same pieces, as well as a second solution where the square isn’t the center piece. This is more of a “zone-out and just go with the flow” type experience rather than looking for a solution. With no picture to go by, you’re really just moving and adjusting piece placement by logic rather than visually. I actually really like this concept! The pieces themselves are a thick acrylic plastic with an iridescent, semi-transparent film stuck to one side. The pieces are cut well, slide into each other naturally and smoothly, and the end result looks amazing! I can see the acrylic scratching over time, and the iridescent sticker can be peeled off. There are some pieces where the iridescent sticker has a slight air pocket between it and the plastic. Between that and the price, that’s enough to knock one star off.I like this puzzle a lot. It was fun finding the regular solution on my own, and I look forward to trying the other solutions as well. I think they’re asking a bit much for what you get with this kit ($20-$30 would seem a bit more reasonable), but overall, I can definitely recommend this!
