Mostly good quality except for paint
The plastic is thick and good quality (not flimsy). The paint on the bears’ noses is coming off quickly, from my son’s playing of course, but I wish the paint was more durable and long lasting. Also, warning on small parts—my 1yo son has been able to put the little bear cubs entirely in his mouth. So we have removed the bear cubs out of play for now. Overall, I’m glad we got it; my son loves it; and it’s probably better than your dollar store toys.

Realistic wild life will encourage learning and imagination!
These animals of the forest are great for toddler play. They are large enough to easily accommodate little hands. Our moose was unbalanced as his antlers are big and made it topple over. A little manipulation to move the antlers seem to have remedied the problem. My 3 year old grandson loves them and plays with them almost every day.These Terra sets are the best deal and have the most realistic animals. Don’t hesitate to buy them! It’s a pet peeve of mine to get sets that have a goose as big as a horse. Not much of that here! It’s a great set. Also purchased the zoo animals and that too is a great deal!!
