Antiseptic Original Ointment improved formula 1 oz

It's hard to find these old school medications anymore, so I'm glad to find it online. It's amazing what a relief this stuff gives, within a minute of putting it on. I also hate anti-biotics, since you're just making the bacteria that survive resistant to antibiotics, and making life more difficult for all of us in the future. So this old school ointment is my favorite for splinters, insect bites, ingrown toenails, cuts, etc. even once they're infected. It softens the wound allowing the body to expel the splinter, and I'm surprised again and again how effective it is.Exactly as ordered, arived ahead of schedule, couldn't ask for anything more except maybe a cheaper price (hint, hint).

This is a true healing product! Been in my family for three generations! It's just gotten more expensive for the size (downside). Still performs well for boils. NOT available in stores, (checked many different stores), order from Amazon came just as expected, as always.

Love this ointment. My mom used it when I was a child and I used it as an adult and on my children. it is a cure all. My6 husband has very sensitive skin and has several prescriptions for the rash he gets around his neck. He doesn't even know what it comes from. However, unguentine clears the rash better than the prescriptions. This is such a good product to have in your medicine cabinet. It is a cure-all.

Expensive and hard to find, so we went ahead and ordered this so as to have it on hand when needed.

Too greasy

Used this product ever since I was a little kid. I am 62 years old now. Still a great product and not just for burns.

I discovered this fact years ago. We had a company dispensery that issued 4 oz jars for burns. It was yellow in color in a clear glass jar with a black plastic lid. The yellow was just coloring. The product was pure pharmaceutical lanolin (also sold here on amazon). Both smell identical with the same consistency and effect. Save your moola and buy the uncolored stuff for a gigantic savings.

An old standby from my childhood (and I mean OLD) which I would be hard pressed to replace as I am allergic to the OTC triple antibiotic ointments. Nothing (in my opinion) beats this cream in removing pain from cuts, scrapes, and (especially) burns than this stuff. The only drawback is the cost.
