The machine looks great, how long can I run continuously with it? Is intermittent downtime required?

It's perfectly adequate for home use, I generally run the slicer for no more than 10 minutes, then cool for 15 minutes. Since I did all the slicing in no more than five or six minutes, I didn't push the slicer to the point of overheating.

Is this easy to clean？

Very easy, the guide and the table can be removed

Mine was supposed to " New in box with spare blade" it came in a box that had clearly been opened, the spare blade was missing as well. It operates okay however, the adjuster for thickness of cut does not stay locked and slowly creeps open making your slices thicker and thicker. I would not purchase again.

Where can I get replacement parts? My plastic meat pusher busted.

Could never find that answer either, because that is the weakest point of this slicer. Should have been metal, even with a nominal increase in cost

Fantastic!!! Way better!

We bought one of these and it only came with the "saw blade". That is okay... but when I saw this we had to give it a try. Spending close to half what the slicer cost us (Cuisinart at $79) was definitely worth it! If used right, this will shave!!! I make a lot of roast beef (deli style) and get a lot of Triple Ms for ham sandwiches... this blade is perfect! ** Careful, this blade is very sharp. Also, do not forget to oil the blade after every use. Any kind of cooking oil will work...I use roasted garlic EVOO. Just so it doesnt get the residue (grey) Great great product!!! SUPER happy!

Best decision

This new blade works so well! I love slicing my own ham, turkey and roast beef so I know I am not getting salt and preservatives in my meat. It slices right through and makes a wonderful sandwich.

Clean Cut

Fits Cusinart slicer and is great on meat making nice clean slices. The blade is sharp but no where near razor sharp. I don't know how it will hold up or hot to sharpen it without building a jig.
