Great product
Got this for a gift after wanting it for a while. Works great! Quick delicious waffles at home! Heats evenly. I love that it is non stick. It came with a little bag of happies - cute little tongs that have really been useful and pastry brushes. We have had waffles so many times since getting it. The timer is super useful. It is really easy to clean and to use. My only complaint is that the temperature knob is a little confusing, the placement of the little arrow doesn't align properly, and it is difficult to know what temperature you have set it to but after using it a couple times I have figured out the optimal spot for me.

Remove the protective wrap
I saw other reviews that included pictures of this waffle machine's scratched white protective wrap saying it was not good quality. I thought I should correct this and let people know that you're supposed to remove that white wrap. It's just there to protect the stainless steel underneath. I've included a picture to show what you'll find if you actually unwrap it -- brushed stainless steel! If you have problems getting the parts of wrapping that are tucked under brackets, I found that you can put a butane lighter to the wrapping and it will shrink back. A little heat won't discolor the stainless steel. The wood handles need to be installed with the 4 included bolts. The bolts will unscrew by themselves, and so you'll need to tighten them with each use. This isn't a problem if you only occasionally make waffles and you plan to remove the handles each time and store the machine back into the box. You'd need to remove the handles anyway for storage. But if you plan to use the machine more regularly, you can probably add some thread locker to the screws. As for operating the machine, the printed instructions include a bubble waffle recipe, but something was definitely lost in translation, as I didn't understand what "red hair mix" referred to. But there are plenty of online recipes for egg waffle. For my initial trial I just used a store bought Belgian pancake mix (the "just add water" kind), and followed the recipe on the box for waffles which require adding water and some oil. I set the temperature to around 375F. A light tells you when you've reached the set temp. And I timed it for about 2-3 mins. One of the knobs sets a timer that will ring with a bell when done. The result was an evenly browned waffle on the more concave side and less evenly browned on the flatter side. It tasted great. But as I was finishing the batch of batter, and layering the finished waffles on top of each other they started to get soft. I probably should have put them separately onto a cooking rack. The machine is really easy to use because the waffle cooking plates are non-stick coated. Also the whole thing, although it looks and is large, it's not very heavy because the cooking plates are made of aluminum. They heat evenly and once hot, they take a while to cool down. I cannot speak to the longevity of the machine but it seems to be well designed and built.

Final waffle product.
I haven’t got waffles to turn out well yet, not sure if I need to adjust my recipe.

BUBBLE WAFFLES!
Love it! Easy to use once you get the hang of it. Everybody loves these waffles more than regular waffles now. Obviously it’s absolutely huge store but everyone in my house thinks it’s worth it.

Very poor quality
I bought this for my restaurant! I've only used it 3 times and the black non-stick pan protector has already broken! I need to return it! Too bad!
