Just like picture & described !
This what I wrote on my induction plate range review for this item is below. It did seem to slide, but maybe is cuz it took a few minutes till it heated up & got magnetic. I was scared it was not going to work, but it did ! I was expecting super magnetic stick right away, but is not how this works I guess. As long as it works I am okay. Just wish the retail mark up was not that much or item do as I thought it might in the magic magnet thing, but as long as it worked with none induction pots, or worked, etc I am satisfied. It is all I was worried about when ordering it & if I had to return it back. Good thing I don't have to. Looks like great quality. It was a low price. No fancy more button functions like I would have liked, but I have been wanting an induction range, so I had to forget that & get this simple one. I am sure better off without more difficulty or choices of button functions. I tried one of from the set of the cheap Walmart nice enough Mainstays pots set to make the square pkg of Nissan chicken flavor noodle soup on the induction flat pan thing bought on here & it boiled the water so fast no stress like my regular countertop coil burners. Maybe with all this wot burn stuff again. Also, maybe make some caramel if ever need be. I don't cook much on the stove, but if need to I have it. I have the toaster oven, the digital pressure cooker, and now the 3 in 1 Ninja Foodi Gril, so will not this unless need to saute seasonings Spanish Cuban tomato sauce base or can of beans for it, cuz the microwave is not so great or really work or the same & a bit of a pain & process. This is much faster. The plastic round microwave cooker is too thin for the weight when go take it out & a pot is much better to do that when cant cook dry beans. I wish I could get more use out of this, but since I have all those other devices for recipes I don't need it as much. If ever there is a recipe that I find on YouTube or my search that I can't cook on those devices then I will have this here already & not have to wait to get one to make the food. Anyhow, looks great quality. So far so good. Hope have use of it for ages to come.

A huge Lifesaver for using your older pots and pans
I am so happy that I decided to buy this product for my NuWave PIC cookware. I am able to still use all my old cookware without throwing them away efficiently every time. The diffuser gets very hot so make sure that you use the handle every time you cook after you're done. I've been using this product form two months now and it has worked every time perfectly cooking evenly and efficiently with my pots and pans that are not induction ready. I would highly recommend this to anyone who needs one who doesn't want to buy new pots and pans or just one or use their old fateful pans that you are comfortable with. It is very much a lifesaver that you do not have to go out and spend a fortune on buying new set of pots and pans, this is why I have two of them since I had the new wave and I have the copper Chef induction cookware set it makes my life easier when I want to make scrambled eggs or even cook a steak using my older pots and pans.

Great for everything besides boiling water for pasta
New place has an induction stovetop which none of my old cookware would work with so I thought I’d try this thing out for a few bucks before I went and replaced everything. Been using it for a few months now and it works pretty well for everything besides boiling a big pot of water for pasta. It takes a little longer to heat things up but that’s to be expected since there is an additional layer to heat up now. After some uses at high temperatures it has become discolored but it has no negative impact on the dispersal of heat. I would recommend it to people for anything besides making large amounts of pasta, in which case you would probably be better off buying an induction complaint pot.

Scary!
My husband used this item once but that was enough to determine it gets frighteningly hot. It also didn’t work as well as we had hoped it would. It didn’t conduct the heat to the pan he was using as expected. So he decided to remove it from the burner. He laid it on a hot pad to cool. We discovered a short time later the hot pad was burned to a crisp, literally burned to where the color changed from blue to dark brown.. The plate also left a mark on our brand new induction stove. Luckily we were able to clean the spot away with a few cleanings. We’re concerned what would have happened if he hadn’t removed the plate, we feel there may be a safety issue with this type of product. I wouldn’t recommend this item.

Perfect for my vintage steel teapot
I have a gas stove and a vintage steel teapot. Finding a way to heat the teapot without blackening the "silver" was incredibly important to me and this works beautifully. I'm glad the handle can detach and that it's in a smaller size for the back burner. It's super sturdy and thick. I'm sooooo happy with it guys

No handle
Mine came w out a handle and they wouldn’t take it back. And if you’re using it for induction cooking , it won’t boil your water but it will heat up. But your better off buying induction cookware

If used right, this is the best Induction diffuser I have found in over a decade.
After reading many negative reviews, I note that several folks say it gets too hot and discolors, etc, etc. What shoppers should understand is that this diffuser is designed for (get this) INDUCTION STOVES AND COOKTOPS ONLY! It is not designed for electric-radiant and gas stoves! It can work, but it was not made for that and it can deform in color and shape if used as such. I have tried many variations of induction diffusers for induction stoves, but many can be butt-ugly as in cast iron and weigh a ton. This piece is reasonable in price, size and weight. Most importantly, the carbon steel core is wrapped in stainless steel cladding. Therefore, it will never rust or discolor as long as it is used on an induction stove. Glass, ceramic or aluminum... they all work here. I find it best to slowly heat the diffuser & glass or ceramic pan at a 150 degrees or so to let the built in cooktop temperature monitor to stabilize with the diffuser before placing the non-metallic pot... maybe a few minutes at best. Then you can adjust the temp as needed and cook without worry about shattering the glass pot. I should add that changing temperatures drastically can still stress glass or ceramic I used to cook on a gas stove, but after I found the tight controls on an induction cooktop, you can warm chocolate or melt butter and never burn it. You can set cooking cycles without standing over the stove. But the best part is that it is far m0re efficient than gas or radiant electric. Enjoy.

Happy as it is Great As Expected
A lot of reviews read before I ordered this or a similar item. Decided on this flat design with handle offset from the plate itself. Some of the reviews mentioned a separation of the “layers” of the plate itself. Have not found that to be the case so far in a month long use everyday. Of course I am only using this about 1/3 of heat range available on my glass top range. Low heat cooking is my thing so if you are into high heat your experience may differ. So for me - no “layer separation”. Re: “Flat Design” - larger cast iron skillet so this design compliments the skillet in providing enough surface for the skillet to heat evenly across the skillet. Handle is out of the way so skillet sets flatly across its width. Some reviews said a person needs to adjust UP one setting with this plate but I don’t find that to be the case. Regular settings still work just fine. Saving my glass top from scratches! Saw a couple with first few uses of cast iron on glass top. NOT NICE! No additional scratches on glass top so extremely pleased. And I can use my cast iron to get the right degree of char on my foods.

Trop longtemps pour mettre à chauffer
Je trouve que la casserole m est trop longtemps à chauffer ..

Scam
It took roughly three uses for it to not survive the heat, expand into three layers and mutilate its shape. Total waste of money and total disappointment

Świetna płytka, dobry rozmiar.
Rozmiarem pasuje zarówno do kafeterki jak i do garnków. Dobry pomysł z ta odpinana rączką. Zajmuje mało miejsca w szafce. Polecam!

Buen producto
Cumple su funcion, se pone algo feo con los usos pero funciona perfectamente en mi placa de inducción.
