CHALA Convertible Backpack Purse - Women Convertible Shoulder Purse with Adjustable Strap

I bought this purse almost a year ago and am looking to purchase another for Mother's Day this year along with some accessories. I like how easily I can convert it from backpack to handles. I normally go through purses seasonally but this is the first purse I have used year long. I feel like it holds plenty and keeps me from hoarding too much. My current one has held up to daily use and barely looks worn. I love the beauty and character of the design. I'm only getting a new one because I want to get another design.

Very well made. Great quality. I appreciate that the interior zipper pocket is reinforced with some kind of sturdy material between the fabric layers (probably thin cardboard or something similar) and the pocket is not a nuisance. The main compartment opens wide and items are easily retrieved, however the two front pockets are basically useless. But I expected that to be the case prior to purchasing this bag. You can just tell from the pictures that they are too narrow, and the material too unforgiving, to be of any use. The front snap pocket isn't awful, I use it for my keys and chapstick. But the front zipper pocket is basically just decoration, in my opinion. Still, I do like the quality and look of this purse and I am happy with the purchase.

After swapping a regular purse for a backpack when we moved across the world, I decided I really did like the idea of a backpack. I fell in love with the design on this bag and decided to take the plunge. It's a little more than I would usually pay for a purse but I am OBSESSED. The backpack/shoulder bag conversion is so easy once you figure it out and the bag is really a perfect size imo. Plus there are so many pockets it's easy to organize. Really hoping it holds up well because I love it. The value is great, as long as it holds up well I would 100% buy this again. Super comfortable straps for shoulder or backpack, and the color I got is super cute, I love that it comes in so many prints as well! I recommended it to my mom in another print.

I'm thrilled with this purse. Just the right size and it's beautiful. I recently made my first Chala purchase. I bought the cell phone case for a friend's birthday and I was really impressed. She loved the gift. I showed it to others at work and they loved it so much that they made purchases. This purse has two inside zipper sections as well as 2 pockets, an outside zipper section and another slot in the front that snaps. It's a medium size. I really like that you can carry it like a purse, slung it over the shoulder or carry it like a backpack. The quality is excellent. It's sturdy but not too heavy. I will be making more purchases. Just know that it does take a little longer to ship. Wasn't an issue for me but plan ahead if your purchasing as a gift. Definitely worth it!

Good durable backpack purse

Happy Valentine’s Day, fellow Amazon shoppers!! 😅 (I got this bag/wallet set as a Valentine’s gift to myself since I’m single this Valentine’s Day 😭 & I wanted to treat myself! 😅) So far, I like the purse/backpack. It’s the right size for all my everyday items (though it IS a little a small size; that’s why I gave it only 4 stars instead of 5). When all my everyday stuff is in there, it IS a bit tight, as you can probably tell from the pictures. I just wished it was just a tad bit bigger so it wouldn’t be so tight in there, but oh, well … I can’t fit my iPad, for example, in there, but that’s okay since I don’t need my iPad everyday, anyway. ☺️ I also wished it had little “feet” on the bottom so you don’t have to put the bottom on the dirty floor, for example, but, again, oh, well … minor complaints. 😅 But I DO like the fact that it has a lot of separate pockets, as you can probably tell from all the pics. ☺️ I have decided I’m gonna use it as more of a purse than a backpack after seeing the past reviews of it breaking after being used as a backpack. I also got the matching wallet & keychain/coin purse with it (also available on Amazon, separately, if you want them, as well). The wallet is a good size for what I need; the only thing is that it doesn’t stay open when you need it. It would be a nice if it wouldn’t be closing all the time when you’re trying to get your money out! 😅 Its color doesn’t EXACTLY match the bag, either, but it’s close enough. ☺️ The keychain/coin purse is also okay, though a bit bigger & thus, a bit too cumbersome than I was expecting. All in all, though, it seems like a good purchase so far. Also, I like that it’s saving the animals, too, by not being made out of real leather! ☺️
