A Yin Yoga Essential for Hip Release
I’ve been using the Thrival Deep Tissue Pro and it’s become an indispensable part of my yin yoga practice. What sets this tool apart is its ability to target deep into the hip flexors and surrounding muscles, providing a release that traditional foam rollers and massage balls just can’t match. The adjustable design allows me to customize the pressure and angle, making it perfect for accessing those hard-to-reach areas in the hips and glutes. During yin sessions, I can position the tool to apply sustained pressure, facilitating a deeper stretch and release. This has significantly improved my flexibility and reduced tension in my lower back and hips. The build quality is impressive—sturdy and durable, ensuring it withstands regular use. It’s also compact enough to take with me to classes or when traveling. Overall, the Thrival Deep Tissue Pro has enhanced my recovery routine and yoga practice. If you’re looking for a tool to help release tight hips and improve mobility, I highly recommend giving this a try.

Like a deep tissue massage - uncomfortable at times but very helpful. Might try the soft covers
*Edit- after 2 weeks of using this, I find it’s been very helpful. It’s useful for different hip & thigh muscles that are hard to reach, and very helpful for tense calves. Glad I went ahead and got this. Original review: I just got this yesterday and tried it last night. My hip has felt tight and has ached for a year or so. That’s my fault for not exercising and stretching as much, but once that problem happens, it’s not easy to address. This works to help release the iliacus muscle and seems to have a very positive effect on other muscles that are affected by it. I already feel much less tension and pain. This is easy to assemble, disassemble and pack when traveling. The meat grinder and other attachments are a super hard plastic . I didn’t know there were soft covers available, but there are. Since I didn’t purchase them, I doubled a blanket and draped it over the whole thing to soften the pressure. Even with that, it was a lot of pressure, and I feel bruised today. BUT we all know getting to tight muscles like this is going to involve discomfort, so that was no surprise. The takeaway for me is that it seems to help considerably with hip area tension- it’s similar to a deep tissue massage- it may hurt pr be uncomfortable at the time, but it help considerably, so I do it. I’ll continue using this . Curious to know if the soft covers make much difference. Also curious to know if the Aletha hip hook is any more comfortable. If so, I’d definitely consider trying it based on my experience w this…

I am hopeful!
Just used my Thrival on my lower back for the first time. It was a little tender, but boy did I feel it hit the muscles that were causing me pain. I followed the online video and it really helped to loosen it up. Feels like this thing might work! Also, I have a small frame, 5’ 7” 125 lbs, but I didn’t even have to use the smallest adjustment size.

Great and versatile muscle release tool!
Really phenomenal product! I’ve been thinking about buying something for my psoas for years. I saw this product and thought the adjustable features would be more useful than the standard one setting psoas release option. I was correct! Buy this! You can use it to relieve tight psoas, glutes, lower back, etc.

Bought for Psoas, ended up using the other attachments more!
I originally bought this for psoas release, and while I’m still learning how to consistently hit the exact right spot with the psoas attachment, I was pleasantly surprised by how effective the other attachments have been. Using them on my glutes and thoracic area delivered noticeable results almost immediately. Working on my glutes alone made a significant difference in my SI pain practically overnight. My lower back inflammation has gone down a lot, and for the first time in a long while, I don’t have to brace myself when I sneeze or cough. The psoas attachment is still a work in progress for me, but overall this tool has been a game changer. Not living with constant, crippling back pain has made a huge difference in how I feel day to day.

Too large for smaller people
I hoped to use this with 2 attachments as close together as possible to use on either side of my spine, but all of the attachments are SO large and the minimum spacing option on the base cause the round attachments to hit my ribcage on both sides. I also hoped to use the curved attachments like a hip hook on the front of both hips at the same time but, again, the spacing is way too wide. I'm a 5'5" 145 lb woman for reference. If you don't care about using 2 attachments together to hit both sides at the same time, or if your body frame is larger than mine, maybe this would work for you. I've already scheduled my return for this item.

Awesome for release
This thing is fantastic. I was recently in a car accident and everything was very tight, this helped loosen me up. Great pressure and high quality product.

I have an anterior pelvic tilt as well as chronic low back pain and my main culprit is iliopsoas for both! I can only get it fixed when I see my massage therapist, but now I can do it for myself at home and feels just like when I get a massage! I also inquired about getting the right product and all that came with it and the customer service was absolutely outstanding! They were fast at replying back to me and very informative with answering all of my questions. Bill was absolutely amazing and I can’t wait for everything that happens with this company I will be promoting this company till the day I die!!!
