Nice hobbyist bench top meter
This is a convenient bench top meter and I'm super happy with it replacing my handheld multimeter most of the time. It's way more stable on a desk than your typical multimeter with flip-out stand, and it's great that it plugs in so I don't need to worry about batteries dying or leaking.I don't have a calibrated meter to test against, but the accuracy seemed good enough for my basic hobbyist usage. The screen is nice and easy to read. My only annoyance is that it doesn't remember the sampling speed across power cycles, and I found the Low default to respond too slowly for most measurements.I was happy to find that the rechargeable batteries inside are 18650 cells rather than a custom rectangular pack - see photo. The USB-B interface is a nice addition which allows for serial based SCPI control of the meter - I was able to read basic measurements and change the mode from an attached computer.Overall this was a nice upgrade to my hobby electronics bench!

Works after probe replacement.
Initially, this DMM was well off on its readings and I was on the verge of returning it, however, I found the problem was the supplied probes.Fortunately, I had also purchased a separate set of probes from another vender. After replacing the probes, the meter was reading correctly and in line with other meters that own. Also, be aware that the specs call for a 30 minute warm period, and that does seem to settle the meter a bit so make sure to turn it on for a while before making measurements.Bottom line: I have found it to be fairly accurate with different probes. Maybe I just got a bad set of probes and you may as well. Check that before you decide to return it.

Second OWON instrument
I wasn't looking for a meter, though my Craftsman was showing signs of age. But then this one came to my attention.Owning an OWON digital scope already, I was familiar with their robust feature set. Having need for a meter that I didn't have to feed batteries and wake up every so often, was a plus. The meter is pretty compact and light weight, works well, and is a delight to work with, over the traditional non-backlit B&W LCD. The only thing missing from the old meter was the inductance check. The range recording is easy and intuitive as is all the operations. The COM terminal is a floating ground and not connected to Earth ground. None of the buttons light up, which would be nice for the power and function buttons, for quick confirmation. It doesn't come with a carrying handle, pouch, or a calibration certificate. It would have been nice to have an adjustable tilt. It comes with instructions, meter leads, and alligator clips, but you have to download the USB PC application software, which is no problem. For my technical work it is perfectly fine.

Not quite a bench meter, but way more flexible!
I bought this multimeter after a previously poor choice which was returned. This meter met my qual tests head on and excelled. I watched the YT videos about it after I bought it. They need updating! Excellent product for a very good price!

Accurate, but the software stinks.
I cannot get it to reliably connect to my computer for software logging. It's unfortunate, since I bought this model specifically to use it to log battery discharge over time, and it just doesn't connect to the computer with enough reliability for it to count. Otherwise, it's a great bench-top meter! Works perfectly when I need it.

Extremely accurate meter!
I only write a review when a product is really good or really bad, and this one is extremely good. I am working with thermocouples and until now I could never afford a meter capable of measuring down to a microVolt (equals 0.03 degree F on thermocouple), but this one does it! Its not perfect, it reads -0.003uV with leads shorted, but thats not much zero error and far better than I expected for the price. And the error is stable, it does not drift so I can hit REL to zero that out for precise readings. The Math button offers MAX/MIN which displays those two plus AVERAGE which I use a lot because such extremely low voltage is noisy, but unfortunately that disables REL. But its easy enough to mentally add 3uV to the average. All other Volt and Amp ranges read 0 with leads shorted so for normal use there is no issue. It was accurate on Ohms, more accurate than any other DMM I have, and my only dislike was >50M-Ohm shows as "overload" which makes you wonder if there's Voltage on the terminals. This is a hi res screen, so why emulate a $10 multimeter, show "overrange". I love that Ohms will autorange with REL on (zeros out lead resistance) and remembers the REL for each function. For example, on Ohms you short your leads and turn on REL, then you switch to AC Volts (REL off) to check that power is off, then back to Ohms to read across a contact REL is turned back on so if its an open contact the lead resistance is subtracted, but if its open it autoranges to 50M-Ohm range so you know its really open.Amps has two input jacks, "10A" and "uA mA". I was impressed that the 500uA range has a resolution of 0.01uA, the amount of current through a 500M-Ohm resistor at 5V!Having read other reviews I had low expectations for the capacitance function, but in autorange it read most caps within 5 seconds. A few took up to 20 seconds but they were very old and I suspect they were leaky so it took longer to charge them initially. Maybe they've improved it in my software, version 4.0.0. I do agree that instead of showing 0.00, they could display "wait" or something while it determines the value. So if you're a hobbyist like me needing an accurate workbench DMM that's not going to break the bank, BUY IT, you won't regret the purchase.
