We'll See...Updated: It works for me!
Shortened version: Had a mouse problem. Tried many other traps/poisons with little luck. Got this product. No more mice.Day 1: I received three of these units. I plugged one in the basement, one in the kitchen, and one upstairs in the hallway. You just plug it in and the green light comes on, the red light flashes for three minutes, then goes off for three minutes. The nightlight has a button to turn it on or off. I could hear a slight humming noise coming from the units when I was right next to it. It's not noticeable unless you are really listening for it.The mice like to hang out under the kitchen sink and behind the fridge. I usually don't hear them, just find their droppings in the morning. After I plugged these in, I thought I heard some commotion coming from the kitchen a couple of times in the evening when I was in the living room. Perhaps they are trying to get out? Like I said, I usually never hear them, so hopefully it wasn't just a coincidence that they are scurrying after I plugged the units in.These are kind of my last resort outside of getting a cat. We live in an old farm house so trying to find and plug every little hole would be nearly impossible. We have caught some in traps, but I feel those are only a temporary fix and more keep coming in. Hopefully these units will be able to deter any more mice from coming in.Days 2 and 3: Well, I guess no news is good news in this case. I didn't find any new droppings today or yesterday. The information sheet that came with the product states it usually takes about a week to become fully effective so I'm still a bit skeptical. Tonight I plan on setting a trap with some peanut butter on it under the sink (their favorite hangout) and see if I get any takers. Last time I set a trap, they managed to get the peanut butter but not set off the trap. This is another reason why I am so skeptical; I feel I am dealing with some very intelligent and sneaky mice. They may just be taking refuge in another area. The kitchen is the only place they might find a crumb so if they can't stand to be in there, maybe they will move out completely.Days 4 and 5: Sadly, over the weekend I did find some new droppings in the kitchen. I set a trap under the sink but didn't get any takers. Judging by the amount of droppings, I would guess that it's only one or two mice, whereas before it seemed to be a mouse party. Hopefully the few that are left will be driven out or will fall victim to a trap. The package did say allow a week for the initial "flushing out" period.Update: I have had the product now for a couple of weeks. At the time of my last update, it had not been quite a week since I plugged them in and I had still been finding some droppings. I set two traps: one in the bathroom and one under the kitchen sink. I caught a mouse in the bathroom within a few hours of putting the trap there. Since catching that one, I have not seen any more droppings or any sign of any mice. The trap under the kitchen sink is still set, just in case another wanders in. I think this last mouse I caught was the final one in the house.I do believe that these repellents played a major role in eradicating my mouse problem. I feel that I should also mention that I became diligent about not providing the mice with easy access to food. I quit leaving dishes in the sink, made sure to clean up every little crumb, and put the dog bowls out of reach when it wasn't feeding time. That being said, I was being extremely careful about the crumbs and dishes before I got these repellents and was still finding droppings every morning. This product has really been a saving grace considering how much damage the mice had caused. They had chewed threw the dishwasher water line, the refrigerator water line, and our filter water line in the basement, causing a big water mess each time.I would absolutely recommend this product. Some other reviewers have said they seem to wear out after about six months but I feel it would be totally worth it to replace them twice a year to keep the mice out.UPDATE: I have had these installed for a couple of months now. Last night, we had a thunderstorm and the power surged a couple of times, killing the units. I'm not too surprised...they are pretty cheap. However, they do work to keep the mice away so I ordered some new ones.

Just because you've got no activity for a little does not mean it works....got infested with rodents with the plugged in product
I am not sure if this product actually works or it is a scam, but at this moment it definitely doesn't work. I first purchased it in 2013 while living in San Francisco and dealing with mice situation. After poisons, traps etc , I purchased this product and had no more issues until we moved. But again, we also did not have before the mice incident, no other mice for the 2 1/2 years that we lived in that apartment. In 2014 we moved to Connecticut and for one year we had no mice or any other rodents issues. Couple of weeks ago, my neighbor downstairs said she had a possum entering her kitchen. She got all the holes covered and she was fine. Now. two days ago I noticed activity in my cabinets under the sink where the garbage can is. As I am petrified of mice and other rodents, I had a family friend check on it and he said it looks like it is a rat or something big and a smart one as it got all the food without catching on the traps. So I would say this product doesn't work and if there is no activity for awhile while plugged in there is no evidence to prove that it was due to the functionality of this product.

It Works, just give it time...
I lived in an apartment prior to buying this device and the landlord had several of the same type of devices under the apartment building. The moral of the story is: in ten years I saw no roaches. Now that I've bought a condo with an obvious roach infestation I decided to buy this type and brand of roach repellent. At first I thought that I had wasted my money but after moving it around a bit, and waiting a week or so I see NO roaches, at all, which is wonderful. No sprays necessary to possibly poison my dog, it's plugged in and simply works! Don't ask me why but it seems to work best when it is plugged directly into a wall outlet, i.e., no power strips or multi plug adaptors. I chose the most center AC outlet to my 800 square foot condo and since then, no roaches. I still get spiders once in a while so they must be wearing ear plugs, LOL. But again NO roaches. Highly recommended. The night light is an added bonus should you need it. Or, pay a pest control company major $$$$ per month and deal with poison being sprayed in your home.Final thought, it just works....!
