When asked to "rate features," I gave the following:Easy to swallow - 5/5. The pills aren't large, and the capsule part is pretty soft. I used to take three pills at once each night (as in, one swallow), then added this one as a fourth pill and still don't have any issues getting them all down. Even people don't do great with pills should be okay.Flavor - 4/5. It's got a strange starchy/cardboardy aftertaste, but since I brush my teeth immediately after taking the pill, this doesn't throw me off too much.Absorbency - 5/5, as far as I can tell. I have no idea. It seems to be doing the job.For the money, it's a great value, and if you need an iron pill that's easy to swallow, this is your jam.

Easier on my stomach than other iron formulas. If you're doctor has suggested iron glycinate or bisglycinate this is the compound used. Ferrous sulfate, the old school iron supplement formula, is a lot tougher on the stomach than this stuff. I donate blood regularly and this helps keep my iron content up where it should be with much greater consistency.

I have tried 3 different irons from Best Naturals, Deva and Amazon Elements. Only the last two showed any improvement in blood tests but Amazon Elements is the better value between the two so I am sticking with Amazon Elements. I switched from everyday to taking it only every other day because it helps to remove any constipation problems. Even though taking only every other day, the blood test results were good.
