This foundation is so unique. I am older (over 50 and under 55) and I have very dry skin. I have been trying different foundations because my skin seems to have changed recently and a lot of my foundations look cakey or too light on my face now. I got this foundation in the shade Medium Beige and it is perfect for my skin tome which is medium with olive undertones. It looks a little deep when it comes out of the pump top but, once blended, it lightens up because it has a primer in it that sort of diffuses some of the color.The bottle has foundation and primer swirled onside and the pump top dispenses just enough and keeps the product free of bacteria. It has medium coverage. When I use this, after I apply it, I feel a strange but soothing cool feeling on my face. It's hard to describe but I like it!The foundation is great for my dry skin. It isn't so matte that it takes away all of my dewiness but it isn't greasy either. It wears for a long time on my face. It covers smaller things like freckles, sun spots, and slight unevenness. It isn't heavy enough to cover deep marks or dark circles though. But I use a concealer around my eyes no matter what foundation I wear.As far as firming, I don't know about that. My face looks good but I don't know that it looks firmer. I am lucky to have good skin (Thank you Retin A!) and few wrinkles but naturally gravity wants to pull my face down. I think this foundation may help a little but that isn't its strong suit. It is good at making my skin look as good as it can without looking like I slathered on thick, heavy foundation. I like it! and bought a second bottle in case it can't be found when I need more. The price cannot be beat either!

When I do write reviews, I like to wait and give the product and/or seller a chance. This is just gross. I was speechless when I first pumped it out. The primer swirl looks yellowish and it comes out orange. It's classic ivory and as a long time Maybelline customer I have never seen anything close to this color in any of their formulations. I don't think the ratio of foundation to primer that is in each pump is consistent. It's also chunky. I did trash the first pump that came out before pumping more and trying it. Despite the appearance of the color, it actually blended out colorless. As you can see in the photos the pump I got today does have some color. It does blend great and feels very silky (dimethocone I assume?) I hope this is helpful to someone. The idea sounded good but the execution didn't meet up.

First time using this product. Feels good on skin. I think it’s also helped to soften face. Pleased with purchase would buy again. Also great match to my skin color.

This concealer was so much better in the old version. I loved the age rewind concealer in the pump. Please bring it back. the smaller version with the sponge is harder to apply.

Smooth. Covers well. I use a makeup brush. Will buy again.

I normally pick this up at the drugstore, but with a better price on Amazon and a Prime account, ordering on Amazon saved me time and money, and the quality was just as good.The pump bottle makes this foundation super-easy to use without any real mess, though of course you'll want to use a beauty blender to get it applied just right. That little pump also makes it easy to see when you're running out of product, too, which makes ordering more on 2-day delivery something you can time out just right. And surprisingly, the swirled in layer of whatever makes this foundation age-defying didn't really dilute the coverage. The color was exactly what I expected, even though I hadn't tried this exact formula before. And I didn't even have to use my foundation primer!I'm not sure it really did anything in the way of improving my skin or minimizing signs of age, which is why I'm not loading this review down with five stars. However, it should be noted that I only have a few laugh lines to worry about, so perhaps it makes more of a difference on skin that's got a little more visible age to it. In any case, this is a great, affordable foundation that doesn't go on too heavy and keeps working for you throughout the day.

Just an FYI- if you live in Texas or other warm state- don't have this sort of thing mailed to you. Mine came melted and watery- which isn't the shipper's fault so I won't return it- but it renders it damaged and unusable.If you get this from a store- its great! Smooth coverage and great color. Feels light (actually I can't feel it at all) I always get compliments on my complexion when I put this stuff on. I love it.

I initially thought the bottle was designed this way. It is definitely is defective. Watery substance came out. It's old. Color is incorrect too. No way it's ivory.
