We have been flying with our kids since they were babies. And once we had to start packing food, I went through several cooler options to keep everything for long haul flights. The regular cooler was bulky and I still had to have a spare backpack. The picnic cooler backpack I got next was better, but I hated how the straps felt and really didn’t need all the food in the cool part. This backpack though, has been perfect. It has a deceptively large cooler section, both enough to pack airport food for a family of four for a 12 hour travel time. The top compartment can fit all the dry snacks and the other compartments are big enough for my wallet and phone. Has good side pocket for water bottles as well as this clip so I can ensure that my steel bottle never falls out the side pocket. Used on two flights and multiple day trips so far and the quality of the bag seems to hold up.

Super Rucksack, welchen ich wirklich sehr gern benutze im Sommer. Leider steht er etwas schlecht, wenn das untere Fach nicht gut gefüllt ist, aber das kann man ja machen. Ich finde es superpraktisch ein extra Fach für gekühlte Getränke und Speisen zu haben. Uneingeschränkte Empfehlung!

This cooler backpack is really handy and keeps my stuff cold for a long time. I used it for a picnic and the ice didn’t melt as fast as I thought — the space is big and the two compartments help a lot. The only thing I didn’t like is the straps feel a bit narrow when I carry it for long walks — after a while my shoulders start to feel it. Still, it’s a solid backpack and I’m glad I got it!

Excellent backpack with cool storage for 5 water bottles. Unfortunately, one of the internal zippers in the upper section failed within a few weeks of buying the bag.
