Q: Can this fit a 70' tv on top?

The Hendrix TV Stand is recommended for televisions up to 55". The total width of the tv stand measures 47.6", and the top panel has an 80-pound weight capacity. The concern with larger televisions is that they may extend beyond the sides of the stand; this may cause the TV to be more easily tipped, and if the feet are positioned at the corners instead of the center this will make the width of the television even greater, and could also mean that the television would not fit. A 70" television has an approximate width of 61 inches and would significantly hang over the sides of the Hendtrix. Thank you for your question!
