I've only taken this lens out for one day of shooting, but I can definitely see the potential. I could not use a tripod at the time, and found trying to focus hand held at wide open apertures was very tricky. I've attached only one shot that shows the beautiful glow that is the trademark of the Lensbaby, but I still need time to practice. The lens build is very sturdy and solid, and photos taken at smaller apertures were very clear. I look forward to experimenting with this lens. I'm happy for now.

Very smooth and easy to use. Got it on time to use for a photo session and worked just fine. Only negative thing was that it came in an envelope bag and was left on porch instead of in a box. It is very expensive item to be in an envelope bag. Other than that highly recommended. I am enjoying it and probably will use it often with my other favorite lenses.

Worst product and worst customer service. I bought this in March and within 3 months I had problems with the Aperture Ring. I contacted the seller Kellards and LensBaby for warranty. LensBaby says I am not eligible for warranty as I bought through Amazon and the seller Kellards ask me to contact LensBaby for manufacturer warranty. In the end I am stuck with a worst product that is of no use and worst customer service 😡. If there was 0 rating this seller and LensBaby deserve it. Don't buy any LensBaby product especially through Amazon. You won't get manufacturer warranty.

I love this lens! Perfect for portraits. Beautiful, soft glow at f1.8 and nicely sharp at smaller apertures. Those looking for super sharp won't be happy. But if you're like me and prefer to take photos rather than play with Photoshop, this is for you.

Really happy with the product! It takes a bit of practice to use the lens, but the results are unbelievable!

Ein schwer und solide wirkendes Makro-Objektiv mit hoher Lichtstärke (üblich ist hier ansonsten eher F 2.8), das auch an (m) einer hochauflösenden Sony 7 R eine gute Figur macht. Auch bei Porträts spielt das Objektiv seine Stärke aus. Allerdings muss man sich mit dem manuellen Fokus anfreunden können, was aber gerade an Systemkameras dank Fokus Peaking ja kein Problem ist!
