They get really cold. I have taken 3 to my last infection appointment knowing that it would take a while to get home and I used them all. Very easy to carry along to appointments. The size is ideal for me to slip under my knee brace. I don’t feel like they stay cold too long but I am more used to gel and clay ice packs from a sub zero freezer, and that’s not the same thing. Overall, I am very grateful to have the box of these for my medical supplies because they are not expensive and fill an essential need. Review: Useless. - Barely gotten cold at al and did not stay even cool for very long . Useless waste of money.

Instant ice packs

Great Quantity Ice Packs
I recommend these ice packs for anyone who is looking for Quality, Effectiveness, Ice Retention and Value for their money I suffer from intense back pain and need them for when I am driving long distances. I can keep them in my car for a good period of time and they will work beautifully every time

The larger size is great. Stays cold long enough
The size is great - the cold lasts about 20 minutes which the duration prescribed by my PT. My issue is Achilles Tendonitis so I use two at a time with one under my ankle and one on top. Easy to stay in place with a hand towel placed across the foot This is the only instant cold pack I use now after having tried 5 other brands

Too much air, not enough cold liquid
I ordered this for an ankle sprain, and I thought the larger length would’ve been helpful for resting on my ankle without needing to use a wrap. I also thought it was going to be like the ones they give you at the hospital. Unfortunately, the pack of ice is mostly air, there’s not enough cold liquid inside considering the larger size of the bag. Which means that the liquid only really goes to one side of the bag. Very disappointing. The coldness doesn’t last either. You’re better off getting a larger pack of the smaller bags.
