I kept forgetting to leave a review of this stuff. So, I tend to not use this on my entire head of hair, just enough to give some splashes of red. I tend to use it for big events where hair colour doesn't matter. That takes so little of this that several years later, I'm finally just now running out. The only thing I don't like is that this particular shade of red is a bit pink for my tastes.So, you apply it and then hit it with a diffuser, or let it air dry. I combined some sections with my regular homemade gel (xanthan gum + glycerin + LuxGlide + flax seed gel) just to smooth out any frizz that was caused by applying the wax. You can't really tell a big difference between the extra-gel sections and the just-wax sections, I think. After it is dry, it doesn't transfer, as you can see from my blue shirt. However it can flake if you're mucking about with your hair a lot, so be advised. It washes off completely on your next wash.It has a slight old lady scent. It's not a great smell, imo, but it's not strong either.I think this wax would mess up a set hairstyle, so you'd have to reset your hair, but because this is a wash and go and my hair looks like this naturally, the wax couldn't really mess it up. You don't need a lot unless you're doing a full head of hair, and it's highly pigmented even on dark black hair. Overall, if you typically wear your hair in a wash n go, and you just want to try out other colours, I highly recommend this product.

This stuff is awful. I just tried it 30 mins ago and I have chest long hair. First, coverage is horrid. I’ve used half the tub and still have spots. Like a leopard. Secondly, I can not brush my hair. Picture yourself going to the store and buying every single can of hair spray available. You go home and apply all the newly purchased cans of hairspray to your hair. Now you are trying to brush through it to look smooth. That’s what this feels like. Except it never feels smooth.I gave up trying to brush it out. I was going to use this for Fasching (german carnival), but even though people dress up in costumes, this is too embarrassing to leave in.The pic almost looks better than real life, how often does that ever happen?Added a picture of the “instructions”.

I was kind of disappointed because the color was more violet/pink than the red in the picture, but I still thought it would be cool to try out. I noticed that it takes a lot of time to evenly spread the product throughout your hair, and it caused my hair to become tangled and frizzy. Because I have dark brown hair, I had to put several layers of product on, and even after brushing it out, my hair was very stiff and uncomfortable. I feel like this looks cool for pictures or from a distance, but in reality it is stiff and uncomfortable to wear in public. I’m giving it 3 stars because the color actually came out vibrant through my dark hair, but again it was stiff and thick feeling. Also one thing that really bothered me was that it easily rubs off on your skin and clothes and never fully dries! It left pinkish stains all over the back of my neck and shirt. I feel like this was a good invention, but needs some improvement.

This stuff was so fun to play with!My advice: use rubber gloves when you put it on.It worked great with my slightly damp, dark, curly hair but it takes a long time for it to dry and it will transfer while still wet, but i just used a hair dryer with a diffuser attachment to speed up the drying process though it still transferred a little around the scalp so I slept with a towel on my pillow just in case.Thankfully it washes off very easily, got a little on my skin when applying it, and it came off easily with just a wet towel, and it has a pleasant slightly strong herbal smell to it.Other reviews mentioned a crunchy feeling when the product is dry but using gel on my curly hair I’m used to that feeling so it didn’t bother me.The color is so vibrant on my dark hair and it made my curls super shiny! And it lasted for a good week, slowly fading to a deeper violet instead of the initial neon purple. And it washed out so easily with no purple residue.I would definitely use this product again and try the other colors!

This product is fun! The purple works well with my dark hair. So does the blue. The dye is not perfect, but with care, it isn't too messy. It does require a commitment to use quite a bit to get a strong color. I use half a jar. The color seems to show up especially well in the sun.When it dries in my hair it is quite crunchy and stiff (I do scrunch my hair upon application to get my curls to stay) but after a day or two it gets softer. The material does come off on clothes and surfaces like your neck and pillow (especially when wet), but it is not hard to remove and it doesn't come off very much. I sleep with a wrap around my hair.I usually only keep it in three days as it can get itchy on my scalp.I'm having fun with this!

I’m in looove! I bought the white and red to make a pretty light pink color. I was very hesitant on how it would make my hair feel. Before I applied, I wet my hair with water and put my normal leave in conditioner on, and then I applied the white wax and then the red on top. The color came out perfect and my hair is soft and manageable. Also, it has not rubbed off on my pillow or clothes. You have to wait for it to fully dry. It will rub off a little if you braid or twist your hair, but only a little. The product washes off your hand quick and easy with cold water. I am now in day three of having it in my hair and it is still bright and vibrant. I received many compliments! I will be ordering the purple soon.
