The best
Laco combined with Canfield water safe solder is the best combo to use if you are a service plumber working on old copper or in wet conditions. Hasnโt let me dine in 15 plus years.

works great and a pound of it costs almost nothing
this flux works really well for electrical connections and the price for a full pound of it is honestly unbeatable compared to the tiny containers at the craft store. solder flows way better with this stuff than without it and it's low odor which you really appreciate when you're working in a small space for a while. just make sure you clean it off after you're done soldering since it is corrosive and will cause problems if you leave it sitting on copper.

Good and cheap flux
I do a bit of occasional soldering on both large and small projects. If you properly tin your iron and wires and cover them in a small amount of flux, this flux generally does the job. It's easy to clean up, doesn't smell horrible and generally works.

Excellent flux with easy cleanup
This flux works well for soldering electrical connections. It's low odor and sticks well when applied. Solder flows and adheres well when used with this flux. I've used it on copper and steel without problems. Cleanup is easy with alcohol and a brush.

Great value for money, works on copper jewelry with silver solder.
I am torch soldering copper jewelry with safety silv 45, I tried two types of fluxes before I found this one, one was 10+ years old and no good, the other was extremely overpriced from the jewelry making section of a craft store and gave the same results. I thought I was doing something wrong, until I tried this one. This works perfectly, and I can't believe how cheap it is. I was shocked that it worked, because I read somewhere on here that it wasn't for silver, but it worked just fine with my silver solder on copper. It makes the metal flow right into place. Be sure to wash it off of any copper it comes into contact with when you are done. I made the mistake of getting it on one of my copper bracelets as I was working and didn't notice untill hours later, now it needs a good cleaning and polishing. Attached is an image of a ring I soldered using this, the metal flowed right into the cracks where it is supposed to be and the joint can barely be seen.

UPDATE: BECOMES CONDUCTIVE/IS CONDUCTIVE - FOUND OUT HARD WAY
UPDATE 10/23/2019: I TRIED TO USE THIS FLUX TO SOLDER A DCHDMI RIBBON CABLE ONTO A DC MOTHERBOARD, AND EVEN THOUGH THE SOLDERING JOB APPEARED SATISFACTORY, I COULD NOT GET A PICTURE. I ORDERED A NEW DC MOTHERBOARD, NEW DCHDMI RIBBONS, ETC. AND I COULD NOT GET ANYTHING TO DISPLAY. I SWITCHED MY SOLDER AND FLUX (MG CHEMICALS PASTE) AND THE DCHMI CAME UP NO PROBLEM. JUST TO MAKE SURE I WASNT MAD, I TRIED TO SOLDER ANOTHER DCHDMI RIBBON CABLE ON A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT DC MOTHERBOARD AND AGAIN, IT TURNED ON FIRST TIME WITH NO REWORKING. BOTTOM LINE: THIS FLUX BECOMES CONDUCTIVE FROM HEATING OR IS CONDUCTIVE FROM THE START. ITS ALSO NOT EASY TO CLEAN WITHOUT DOUSING YOUR BOARD IN DI WATER!!!! DO NOT USE THIS FLUX FOR SMD/Circuits/PCB soldering. THIS FLUX BECOMES CONDUCTIVE AND DOES NOT CLEAN AWAY EASILLY IF IT GETS UNDER an IC/COMPONENT THATS SOLDERED DOWN. I'm sure this flux is great for other purposes, but *****REPEAT***** DO NOT USE THIS FOR SMD/PCB SOLDERING. Thank you. Original review: This is hands down the best flux I've ever used for PCB soldering. I'm not joking. Its noticeably better. Just a dab on the IC pins and they suck up solder so easily. Another thing i've noticed is that this flux allows solder to bond with metal at lower temperatures (265 degrees) compared to other activated flux brands I've used. Downside is that when you heat it, it leaves a black residue that's easily wiped away with alcohol or chem wipes.
