The rug came in a box, vacuum sealed. It fluffed right up all on its own once the bag was opened. I was determined to get this rug under the bed in this room by myself and with minimal effort, so I did not vacuum or do anything to the rug before or after getting it in place. The images are of the rug as-is with no treatments. There are little to no indications that it was folded at one point, and it'll most likely flatten more as time goes on.The rug itself seemed...askew. Hard to determine by myself with no additional manpower to remove the bed from the room and see exactly how the shape is off without obstruction, but it is definitely ever so slightly off - no matter how many times I adjusted the rug to align with the wall, the rug portion at the end of the bed wasn't straight. So I went for making it straight at the edge of the bed versus the wall since that's more hidden by the bed. While this was (and is if I think about it too much) annoying, it wasn't something super obvious visually with everyone in its place and it didn't impact how the rug fit into the space.This rug is SLIPPERY. It is extremely soft and just has this amazing feeling to it where you wanna just roll around in it for hours, but the material used to make this softness is slippery if you aren't paying attention. Not only is the material slippery, but the nonskid is basically useless unless you're placing something heavy on it to hold it in place - but that won't stop the sides/corners from slipping around ESPECIALLY if you're walking heel-to-toe ONTO the rug, where it will make you slip like you stepped on a banana peel. Walking away from the rug area is less slippery because it's being held in the center. Since I've put a bed on it, I'm kind of ok with not putting a replacement nonskid on, and this is the guest room so it isn't #1 on my priority list.The color I got is navy and it's a beautiful color. I like how it's dark but because of the material it shines from certain angles; it makes it look like it's more than a navy color, but a grey or white with navy.Overall, I love this rug even if it'll make me slip and fall to my demise. It's the perfect softness for a place like a bedroom where you want all that comfort and coziness. I wouldn't put this in a high foot traffic area unless you have additional nonskid pads in place. I haven't vacuumed it, so I do not know the difficulty or ease of doing so on this type of shag rug - my other shag rugs are more cotton woven shag rather than this soft, almost feathery single-thread shag.

Ordered this gray tie dye rug to help create a more finished look in my daughter’s bedroom. It is very soft, but not very thick. If it was on wood floor I would recommend a rug pad to help add cushion to it. Laid flat shortly after unpacking from the vacuum wrap. Does have (what I recall from childhood as) a “scratch and sniff chocolate scent” at first, but that went away within a few days. Good value for the price point.

Super fuzzy and soft I got one for my daughters nursery and it looks awesome, my son loved it so I ended up buying him a blue one for his room and hes so happy because he loves soft fuzzy material, I like that its also a little spongey so its soft for the feet when you step on it too, great purchase! And it makes the room pop!

The colors are beautiful, my kids love it. However the quality is not the best, it doesn't weight as much so it can slide very easily.

I use this as an area rug in front of my sofa and it matches my living room. I forgot to tell you, the reason I purchased it is because I bought one for my son. His is a different color but I liked it so much that I ordered one for myself. We love them and so does our dog.
