Freeman PE2118G 18 Volt Cordless 2-in-1 18-Gauge 2" Nailer / Stapler Kit with Lithium-Ion Batteries, Charger, Case, and Fasteners (1000 Count)

Bought this so I did not have to haul my compressor in on smaller jobs and it works pretty good. I am using a different brand of staples because they are cheaper and sometimes they do get stuck. I took a small file and wore down where they slide back and forth and it seemed to help with the sticking. Don't but this to be your main gun on big jobs. A compressor is still faster and more reliable, but for small jobs this beats hauling everything in and out.

The nailer jams quite often, making projects inconvenient.

Nailer stopped working after using it for 8 times. Although it was very convenient to use, I was shocked that it would not even function anymore which caused a lot of delay in my work.

I bought this for my construction business because there is so many times that I just need to put up a few pieces of trim in a client's house and it doesn't make sense having to pull out the air compressor, take it in their house, risk hitting a wall, noise, etc. This tool has accomplished my goal. Very easy to use. I've shot around 150 nails / staples and no jams. Every one is great just like their pneumatic counterparts, which I also have. I am impressed with Freeman's quality and affordability. I left out the 5th star for now for 2 reasons. 1. The nailer needs to be held absolutely tight against the board or you will be getting your nail setter out, especially with the staples. 2. I've been working on a pine project with this and the depth adjustment is already set to the deepest position and for the pine, it is setting subflush however I'm worried that once I use it on a hardwood, it may not. We'll see but for now I am very happy with my purchase.

The shipping time was good and packaging adequate for any normal handling. Particularly as it all comes in a good carry case. The device includes a charger and two batteries that charged up quickly and lasted through a set of staples. This was an easy use 5/8 staples (it lists down to 3/4 but the 5/8 worked fine)into hard cardboard tube and plastic liner and stapling some thin rope. Did two staples to test out of box and left it for half day. Then used up the first set to complete a repair. No jams or misfeeds only one staple not fully sank when angled with one corner slightly up tap with pliers to correct (set on lowest penetration power) One needs to practice at edges to not get one prong of the staple in the air.As with battery devices one worries about life and replacements are expensive and if brand doesn’t thrive can you get later. Not heavy for this type of deviceHave to see how it lasts and effects in harder wood projects later and update. But so far very good

went with 3 stars. that might be a little harsh.it does have its place. great for quick dirty jobs. but here are my issues.number one, battery compatibility. as far as i can tell, they are proprietary batteries. many of the off brand tools such as this blatantly steal the intellectual property of others and use a battery pattern of some commonly available brand (usually makita, it seems) and thats awesome. i get uneasy buying something that i dont know iff ill be able to use aftr a year when its batteries wont hold a charge and the product line has been erased from history.number 2, its not really subtle. it makes big holes. its awespome that you can load either 1/4" crown staples or brads in the same gun, i love that aspect, but when you want to do some finish work and put brads in it, you are still making a giant 1/4" size dent in the wood. great for quick shop projects of anything utilitarian that dosent need to look pretty, but not so great as a finisher, which, imo, is the main purpose of something like this. keep it away from moulding.pros- again, it does drive fasteners as it is supposed to. the kit is prety nice with the nailer, 2 batteries, and charger, all in a pretty nice case. and very good value for the money.... as long as youre not expecting it to do finish work.

I love this gun. I'm a 40 something, petite woman and it's pretty heavy for me. I always have to have one hand holding it steady while the other hand pulls the trigger, which isn't always ideal but I still love it. I've used both the nails and the staples, which are included! Having two batteries, which seem to last forever, is awesome too. I wish I'd known about this tool last year before I bought two separate guns (a stapler and a nailer) and a compressor.

Me parece una buena herramienta fácil de usar, un poco pesada para mi gusto, muy versátil me fascina qué pueda usar clavos y grapas sin necesidad de cambiar de herramienta. El precio me parece muy bueno comparado con otras herramientas similares y con menos prestaciones, sin duda y de ser necesario la vil ería a omprar además llego muy rápido en al mitad de los dias qué Amazon dijo. 100% recomendada...

Light weight and easy to use in confined spaces, only had it a couple weeks but no complaints yet.

Just as described amazingly quick battery lasted all day 400+nails &staples love it bought my son in law same model for birthday present he loves it!

Purchased this to nail the trim on in my home. After not using for months, I try to charge the batteries, but the charger would not work. This is the first time I try to use the charger, so it never did work. I email Freeman to ask for a charger replacement, as the time to return to Amazon is past. After a couple months not hearing back, I emailed them again, its now several weeks later and still nothing. I wouldn't recommend this product not only because the company don't have the curtesy to returns emails, but they sell lemons and don't take responsibility for it. Also, I had to tap all the nails in because there is not enough power to push the nails all the way. Find another brand that deserves your business.

Es una clavadora excelente, además que también sirve para grapas de 1/4. Tiene una perilla de profundidad muy buena (gradúa la profundidad poco a poco), luces led de apoyo, almohadilla en su punta para evitar rayones en el trabajo a clavar, luces indicadoras de la carga en la batería y por si fuera poco dos baterías de 18v y sutgador. Además clavos y grapas de 1 1/2 calibre 18 de regalo. Es pesada pero razonable por su función, relativamente silenciosa y muy potente.Estoy muy agusto con nueva clavadora. Mucho muy recomendable.
