Casio2018 GAS100B-1ACR Watch G-Shock

Very nice watch for the money. Love the size on my 7 1/4 inch wrist. Love the fact that it’s solar powered and I will never have to open the case and risk damaging the waterproof seals. Easy to read in daylight and the light is bright for reading at night. No problems reading the small dials as you can see from my picture. Fast shipping and well packaged; good price from this seller. Wish it had atomic time keeping but you can’t have everything! I knew that when I purchased it.

This is a great watch. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS on how to set it and you will have no issues setting the watch time. Looks great and I really like the night visibility of the watch face. Turn on the automatic turn on the light feature. Works great.

Charged watch once in direct sunlight and have not had to charge it since..(been having watch for over 2 months) The led light works great, easy to see in the dark if needed. Looks good, can be a work watch or to go out with. I like the fact that the hands on the clock glow in the dark. Cant beat this watch! Especially for the price. I did much research before deciding to buy this watch, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. If you are on the fence like i was, just buy it.

Casio makes some fabulous quartz watches at very reasonable prices. This is certainly one of them. Some like the orignal GShock are straight digital. They have great functions in an easy to read digital format. If you like the more traditional analog look, Casio makes several hybrids including this one. I like the look and "feel" of this watch. I've only just received it, and I bought it for exercising to use the stopwatch and timer functions. Once you read the instructions (and you will NEED those), it's easy to navigate through the functions. My one complaint is the digital sub screens (there are 3). These are not easy to read in lower light conditions. You can get about 1.5 seconds of light by pushing one of the buttons, but without that, it's tough. This is made more complex by the analog hands that at certain times of the day will cover up one or more of the subdials. I think there is a button combo to help move them out of the way, but this all gets rather complex. It's the price of having a hybrid. You get a lot of options, but all come with some sort of trade off. If you really need digital reads like the timer or stopwatch, and you want to see the numbers quickly and in lower light levels (like a living room in the evening), this watch may not be the best option. The original GShock would likely be a much better option. If you really like the analog style, and only occasionally need the digital functions, this could be an excellent choice.

This watch does everything it is suppose to do at a great price. One warning... read the manual! People complaining about it not holding a charge, apparently don't know how to read. When you first get it, do not charge it in a window, it takes WAY too long and is not the best way. Charge it in direct light. I did this once, for a day, and it has stayed on high charge everyday since. It is easy to set... again, if you read the manual. Some complain about not being able to read in dim light. I have not had this problem at all. I love this watch! If you can read a manual... you will too.

The face and dial of this watch is just what I was looking for. East to read time and date against the dark background. Yeas the manual is tiny but I found an easy way around it. Download the manual to you phone and you can expand any page you need to fine tune the watch. Viola ! Good job Casio.

Love these watches. Good size for the wrist, hands are easy to see at a glance and the solar means never have to worry about fooling with it. Had the stainless steel looking one and now the blacked out one. Highly recommend this watch.
