This 2023 edition is excellent and reflects a lot of work. Ebay has grown and become so much more complicated, that selling and buying require a thoroughly detailed guide if you want to learn the best ways to proceed. The clarity of instruction and attention to detail in this volume should win prizes. But the book would have been immeasurably improved by an index. It is frustrating to need to know something and be unable to look it up quickly. Let's hope subsequent editions will include that much more help to future readers.

I used to sell on Ebay years ago (I did not have a store; I just wanted to sell some things around the house). Recently, I decided that I wanted to start selling a few odds and ends again, but I've been out of the loop for quite awhile and needed a "refresher course." This book is FULL of wonderful information for both casual sellers, as well as sellers that want to have their own store. So very helpful! Looking forward to a new selling experience. This book is very detailed. That's important. However, I am an 80 year old senior . I am hoping to sell a life long collection of antiques. I don't want to start a business. I already owned and ran a successful business for over 50 years. I used to sell on eBay and I enjoyed the symplicity of it. That doesn't seem to be the case anymore. I believe that this is a really good book for a person that wants to buy and sell items but that's not me.

New to selling on eBay and this book provides a tremendous amount of information on how to start and build your business. If you're just getting started and really want to succeed, get this book! Thank you Ann for sharing your wealth of knowledge and laying out such easy to follow steps!

This book is of no use to a UK reader.It is written for the US market and inaccurate and out of date.The question that any beginner would need to consider is whether to open a shop, or be a private seller. This is not discussed until chapter 11.The author reports that there are four types of shop. Wrong there are only three. The pros, cons and prices are clear on the Ebay site.She says that you can't set up your selling item list in advance of putting them on the market - you can; there is a scheduler system for doing just that. So you can set up your items before going live.Very poor, don't bother.
