Used this on heavy security door. Works great. Replaced medium duty model in use for 13 years. Much happier with this one.

Perfect. Easy to install
I replaced the door cylinder on our storm door after it bent from over-opening the door. Figured I'd try a wind-chain to avoid this happening again. This product was perfect. Easy to install, sturdy, inexpensive, shipped quickly - and the storm door no longer swings WIIIIIIIIIIIDE open.

This was installed in minutes and works fine

First good wind it bent the spring right out
It lasted a week, first good wind it bent the metal inside the spring straight and ripped right out, storm door is toast. Seems to be much softer metal than the ones I've bought in the past from them.

Very inexpensive
This door chain was cheap but rugged. It was easy to mount.& and works well for my shed door. It was very easy to install. These instructions were straightforward although the writing was small I needed to take a picture from my phone, then blow it up to read it.

Simple to install
The chain was simple to install. While the directions on the package were accurate, I did view a YouTube video on installation that helped orient me.My only issue was that the recommended nail placement to anchor the “hold spring” (optional, but it keeps the chain from hanging down) was in the same area as my door closer hardware. Other than that, it took 4 drill holes and installed quickly. Works great!
