Well researched and perfectly written
“Negotiating the new normal” by Saurav Jha is a well researched and explorative work done by the author that details about many past and present economic and geopolitical patterns that can help the world recover from the current economic issues that are raised by the Covid 19 pandemic issue. The book covers the issues and economical implications of the four economic powers US, Europian Union, Japan and China. The economic issues of 2008 and how our country India coped up with it are also a great issue included in the book. But at the present situation of COVID that has brought the whole world and even the superpowers of the world and their business on their knees, will seriously induce some economic and political issues that needs to be taken care by the great economists of the countries. The book has multiple economic and political terms that goes through many historic economic problems occured in the world. The language of the book is not as simple as it involves many political and economic terms that a novice reader or beginner may not be able to understand. But if you are lover of reading the historical issues and love the economic implications then this is a must go for you. Book has 8 chapters that shows different problems and also helps out understanding the solutions for them.Title of the book is catchy and much more relatable to the content of the book. I loved the red colored cover of the book as it looks catchy to the eyes and the title seems apt to grab the book for reading. Book is not at all a short read and may take a weeks time for a decent reader. Overall a great book by the author.

Incredible read
Book review:🌸 Due to coronavirus shock strong economic recovery in the developed world is more doubtful than ever. Discussing new dimensions and the way out from these setbacks, this book answers all the arising questions with new stock ideology and many more.🌸 This book is an attempt by the author to navigate the melding of geopolitics and geoeconomics in this era. The idea to show that irresistible currents may be shaping policy and that they are not contingent upon the idiosyncratic behaviour of any leader in particular.🌸 The book attempts to show that pandemic -era trends are not really that new at all, but have been in making since at least the GFC. The pandemic has only served to accelerate these trends which for better or worse will hold sway over the lives of Earth's inhabitants for the foreseeable future.🌸 The author has deeply researched each and every detail providing a new vision after Covid. He shares many stories providing a vivid picture of the scenario and the way to deal it. The best part of this book is it provides a brief explanation of terms of finance or other typical economic abbreviations used for any lay man to understand the concept better.🌸 I hardly read economics but this book changed my opinion. It is a well compiled book with thorough research, perfect finding, analysis and better suggestions to enact. The flow kept me intact about what got destroyed due to pandemic , who actually suffered , how common people had to pay the price and now when its almost over, how the problem of the post pandemic havoc must be tackled , to find a pathway on the road of growth.🌸 I enjoyed reading this book immensely and would recommend this book to all.🌸 Happy Reading!

Informative, well researched and organized
💰 Saurav Jha speaks about how the breakage of the coronavirus leads to strong economic recovery in the developed world is more doubtful than ever. Instead of throwing its weight behind a multipolar world order, China, by far the largest economy among the BRICS nations, has chosen to create a Pax Sinica. However, it is unlikely to make much headway owing to both internal economic contradictions and pushback from the West and beyond. And what of India? Can it become a ‘new China’ to serve as a key engine of global growth, overcoming the pandemic-induced setback as well as earlier policy missteps like demonetization?💰 There is much more other than the answers covered for the questions above. Covid 19 breakouts had affected almost all the classes of people say from High class to below poverty line. When a developing country like India which has its own ups and downs faces such a crises it turns out to be a learning edge to manage such in future. A well researched, organized and inclusive book like this would be literally a helping hand.💰 Author had brought of instances of immense growth in Japan and economical activities of well developed nations and their historical track. If you are a person who is not interested in reading historical and economical stuff, I would say that it might not be a good choice, but considering the content it has, it should be read atleast once to understand where as a county we stand. Author had included many valuable key assets in his work, that could really contribute to the growth of our Country. Best for civil and economics enthusiast, and for people who would love to explore a different genre for a good cause.
