Q: Can these scarecrows be left outdoors?

Yes, I did spray them with outdoor fabric spray. I just took them out of my storage bin for this year and they still look brand new. Just store them when they are not damp

Q: How high are they when sitting down?

I love these!! They are my favorite part of my display! I won't know for sure until I take them out soon but my guess would be 16-20 inches high when sitting and they stay sitting up!! I highly recommend because they are too cute!!
