Walker's Razor Slim Passive Earmuff

These Walker ear muffs are awesome. I use them when I’m mowing and going to drag races, and they make a huge difference. The sound blocking is super good — engines and mowers sound way quieter, but you can still hear people if they’re talking right next to you. They fit really comfortably and don’t squeeze your head like some cheaper ones do. They also feel sturdy and fold up easy to throw in a backpack or toolbox. If you’re around loud engines or power tools a lot, definitely grab a pair of these — they work great and are totally worth it.

I have terrible Tinnitus and I also love going to rock shows. Protecting what hearing I have left is really important to me. I use these along with some good foam earplugs in my ears and the combo works like a charm. I left the last few shows with no additional ringing and I was able to hear the music the whole show as well. Of course you will miss some of the midrange and high end detail with earmuffs and plugs, but I can hear all that stuff on the records. They are low profile so they look like normal headphones, and are easy to cart around and fold up. Love them.

I purchased these earmuffs to help protected my ears from a very loud smoothie blender in my kitchen. The earmuff blocks the loud noise very well. It fits snug over my head, but I wouldn’t wear the earmuffs for extended hours.

I've had these for about 3 months. My main use for them is for work in an automotive repair shop. And, as many of you have been to & have heard. There are many different noises that happens. From compressors running, to air tools throttling, to hammers smacking the hell out of anything. That noise you hear isn't anything from where you are at compare to the mechanic. I've seen reviews on many different hearing protection where they were given a bad review due to them still hearing noises. These aren't eliminating noises completely. They are damping the noises down to a lower level. Which is what they do. I could still hear the noises around me, but they are more muffle than they would be without them. Makes the constant loud noises easier to deal with. Specially not getting a headache from such noises. These hearing protection are adjustable in height with cushion ear pads. The headband doesn't have any cushion for the top of your head. Which might not be anything for those with hair. The connecting point between the ear muffs & the headband is made of plastic, this is also where the metal rods are to adjust them. Which, has me a bit concern of them holding up. Hoping the quality of them are good & won't break anytime soon. They do hold snug/tight against you like they should. Over a long period of using them you will have sweat. How much will be based on the climate you're in. All in all, they work as they should & hasn't fallen apart in 3 months. I don't have any tools to test how much it brings down the noise level. They do bring it down though & it sounds a lot less than it would without it. The convenient slim profile helps with storing it in my tool box. For such a cheap price, I'm happy with them!

I've ordered these twice now. I have to wear hearing protection for work for long periods of time and got about 6 months out of the first pair before the cushions really flattened out. I honestly updated them on preference alone; they were still sealed for hearing protection and the metal adjusters worked fine. They store and travel very easily and I like the low profile. They fit comfortably on my ears and they weren't super tight right out of the box.

Pure gold! I bought the Razor Slim Passive Earmuffs along with the extra gel-filled replacement ear pads, and the combination is fantastic. As someone with severe tinnitus, loud noises are a huge trigger. Standard earplugs never really helped, but these earmuffs dampen the sound perfectly. Huge relief... they help a lot!

If you’re going to the range multiple times in one year it’s definitely worth it. While there are nicer versions. For your basic needs this will cover those needs.

Earmuffs fit snug and take some getting used to but do a great job at blocking out sound. I bought these for the gun range but decided to use them when I cut my grass the day they came in to try them out. Now, I think I will be using them every time I cut the grass and go to the range. Can see myself upgrading to the active version one day in the future for the range.

Sadly i have to give 1 star. Its not reducing the noise at all. İ got it for the loud gym music to protect my ears but its not even reducing normal level of talking i can hear everything. Im very disappointed to be honest. I read the reviews and after that i have decided to bought it but reviews are wronged me. Now im trying to return it but amazon customer service not reachable. Just sending me back to retun page but on return page i had replace the item option which i dont want to do that. I want money refund. So far nothing i can do.

Exactamente lo que esperaba, las ocupo para ensayar bateria me quedaban los oidos zumbando, ahora con esta proteccion los unicos que sufren son mis vecinos, jejeje! excelente producto.

Tenho uma grande dica para quem achou o abafador muito apertado. Sobre a qualidade do produto é impecável, tive experiência com o DeltaPlus Interlagos Light e posso afirmar que o Walker’s consegue superar. A sensação de usá-lo é bem confortável em relação aos ruídos externos e internos, sinto que consigo me ouvir melhor quando falo/respiro/ando. Ele não traz a sensação de que você está em um aquário, como já senti em outras marcas. O único porém é que realmente ele vem bastante apertado, eu coloquei o risco por minha conta e fiz força para alargar o arco que pega na cabeça, o que resolveu completamente o problema e aumentou ainda mais o conforto, pois o material que fica no ouvido já era bastante macio e utilizo óculos de grau. Acredito que o arco seja completamente em metal pelo que notei tentando ver por dentro, então vale tentar. O design dele é impecável de lindo (foi o que mais me chamou atenção para a compra), os materiais que compõe são superiores pelo toque super macio e estrutura em metal, não o sinto pesado ao uso por horas. Utilizo para estudo em casa e em biblioteca pública e foi essencial para aumentar meu rendimento. Mesmo morando em cidade de clima quente (Belém do Pará) consigo usá-lo com o ventilador bem forte por perto e não sentir incômodo do barulho. Estava receosa por ver vários comentários falando que ele é muito apertado mas lhe garanto que vale a compra e vale tentar alargar essa parte do arco. Após alargar o arco ele não perdeu nada em relação a qualidade de abafar, mas vá com calma. Vou adicionar o vídeo mostrando por completo e qual movimento fiz para alargar o arco, espero que ajude!
