great overall but a rubber band keeps the waterproof seal and battery life is not the best.
2 sailing seasons review (spring and fall)Pros:- compact- great product with great options in terms of lighting options (red plus white, three levels of intensity).- seems like good quality, used it for 2 seasons of sailing so far so goodcons:-!!! the waterproof seal is made of a rubber band, what happens when the salt gets to it and it snaps or gets lost?-battery life is not great compared to some other products these days: low light lasts a long time but is very little light: they could have made it just a bit bigger for longer battery life)- charging is unwieldy having to almost unscrew the whole product and you still need a USB B cable with a long plug to reach all the way into the light (some cables i found the plug to be too short to reach into it, never happened to me before) which makes it difficult to use any other usb cable interchangeably.- too expensive compared to similar products, and i can't see nor explain why that's why i'd recommend going for something cheaper and comparable.

Awesome Sailor's Headlamp
Much smaller than I expected, as well as much brighter. Easy one-touch red light-no fumbling for a switch or cycling through colors/white to get to red. Professional duty aluminum body. Should last a lifetime!

Outstanding quality and design
I used it during night training off the coast of turkey. Simply Outstanding. It stays in my sail bag and holds a charge a LONG time in storage. Nice and Bright. The red light is very functional in providing lots of light without trashing my vision at night. Charts and walking about were both great. The actual light is as big as your thumb and adjusts its angle without slipping.
