Should have read the reviews!!
Very poor design with the protruding screws as many others have said. Stupid me and I was in a hurry and thought they were the same as the other brand I bought that were great.Pay the extra few bucks and B get the brand with flush inside screws!!

Fail Rails
These rails have screws that hold the spacer portions, but the screw protrude into the space meant for a rack mount system. The clearance when properly installed is 16-1/2 inches instead of 17-1/2 inches. There were no instructions with the rails, but, I read the reviews and mounted them inside the vertical rails as others indicated. Even when doing this, there is not enough space to fit a standard rack mount chassis. I will be returning these as defective by design. I have attached photos of the rails installed in my rack.

This is not the same as the Startech rails.
Beware future buyers. I searched for Startech rails on Amazon and this came up as a cheaper alternative to the real Startech rails. Granted it never claimed it is Startech rails but it looks awefully like it. The problem with this rail is that the side screw pertude to inside so you can not mount full depth servers. The only way to mount this is to mount upside down which takes an 1u slot from below. Also the "lips" does not cover full depth of the server. The mount is not flush against the side. The quality is not as good as Startech. I felt like I got #$_&_... I did not try to return them(2 sets) since I already installed both of them and vendor did not claimed it was Startech. So, my stupidity trying to save a few bucks got an much inferior product. So spend a few more bucks to buy a much better Startech product. Disclaimer, I don't work for Startech.

Heavy, and could be better
My item arrived on time. But, one of the tabs for mounting was bent. Usually, no issue but the steel is heavy and thick. I do have a work around by flipping the mount.Next, the screws which hold the "ledge" to the rack mount. They are long, maybe too long. A server which is close to 19" wide you will need to cut or grind the screws off.Overall, had I known and was able to look at it (hands on) I would have probably bought something else. There are better designs and workmanship out there.Fact.

Reviews about the screws correct
There is a design flaw in which the screws restrict the total usable width, so a standard 19" chassis will not fit. Perhaps shorter screws could fix this issue.
