Crazy amazing, just with 3rd party firmware
I got this router for 123.xx$ + 6.xx$ shipping, so around 130$. This is one freaking amazing piece of hardware. All the stars are only for hardware. The stock firmware is crappy. Almost no settings at all. You can't even disable IPV6 (seriously ?? ). But feed this monster with DD-wrt and this gives out 5 star performance. I use it as a dedicated VPN router. This maxes out my internet connection when connected to VPN (70 mb/s). Shout out to Hardware engineers, Booo to stock firmware (Web UI) developers, for being lazy and not giving some basic settings/configs.

Decent router hardware wise, software lacking in features
For a home router this is pretty decent, the hardware is fast and compared to the old linksys I had lag is noticeably less. Wifi range is good, speed throughput is good and overall really have no complaints performance wise on this model. For the price though the software is lacking in many features, I've had consistent on again off again lag issues with Halo 5 and would like to have the ability to track what IP addresses my xbox is connecting to.For the price I'd expect some sort of logging to help you troubleshoot issues like this gaming but sadly there are none to be found. The other feature is the ability to block those laggy IP addresses, either through geofiltering like the netgear xr500 or a simple block list, neither of those features is present either. Another thing missing, the ability to configure static routes. The software on this model is very simple and easy to use....the downside is its very simple.Update - 10/09/18 revised down to 2 stars, after using the xr500 I absolutely wouldn't recommend the wrt32x at this price. The hardware is great but the xr500 software blows it out of the water with features.

If you want absolute frustration and downtime - buy this product - Will never buy Linksys again.
If you want absolute frustration and downtime - buy this product. The wifi became intermittent and unreliable after Linksys did a firmware update a month after I purchased it. (Look up on Linksys forums) After numerous phone calls with Linksys, they sent out a Wifi access point to cover the lost wifi functionality. So I continued using the router only without WiFi. Recently I experienced a have a month of glitches in my networking. Every 10 to 15 seconds, I would have delays in gaming, muted VOIP conversations, buffering on streaming TV. I beat up my internet provider thinking it was on their side and after days diagnosing with them, they proved it back to my network. After disconnecting everything except for my PC and the WRT32X, I monitored the packets and found the WRT32X was glitching (making bad packets) every 10 to 15 seconds. I tried to flash the firmware to an older version with only failure. The current firmware is only option avail from linksys. This was supposed to be an open source router and use firmware from other sources, but they were having problems too. I called Linksys for the upteenth time and they will only offer a replacement. This is unacceptable and this is a sub-standard product. Broken WiFi, and bad packets. Do you think I want to TRUST my data to a replacement this poorly made. I think NOT.

Fast and Furious. Pleasant setup too. [Edited to 1 Star]
[Updated Review]Had to edit review and take it to 1 star. After about a week of steady use, the 5GHz radio would turn off and not come back on. The 2.4GHz radio would stay on, but eventually, you could not connect to it. The only thing that would restore the radios and connectivity is to do a factory reset. Well, there is no backup functionality so every time this happens, which is every other day once it starts, is to reconfigure it all over again manually and that will not last more than 36 hours before you have to repeat the cycle. Returned. Since I've seen others complain about this problem with this router and the non-gaming version, I'm not going to give Linksys another shot. It appears no one has a reliable 160MHz router yet. Too bad, when it worked it worked well.[Original review]After struggling in frustration with a Netgear and their flaky 160 MHz implementation, I ditched it and went with the WRT32X and what a totally opposite experience. EZ and fast setup. Fast operation and updating and rock solid 1.7Mbs 160Mhz connectivity with a 2 antenna internal Intel 9260 Wifi NIC. With GoogleFiber download is as good as wire and upload is 70% wire speed. The only thing it lacks is a configuration backup feature, but it's so easy and fast to set up, it's not a big deal. Highly recommended.

Good router but there's not a lot of features.
I bought this for a couple reasons; I need a stronger wireless signal to other parts of my house, I wanted less latency and something that was quick and easy to use. This router pretty much covered all of those, but in turn I realized that this router extremely lacked features. After researching why this thing did not have VLAN capabilities or even parental controls, I came to find out that this router was a stripped down version of the WRT32000ACM, about the same exact hardware but it really just has an easy way to prioritize devices (QoS). Also this router is not supported by the Linksys App. I feel like this product page did not do a good enough job explaining exactly what this could and could not do.Pros: Easy to setup, looks great, strong dependable signal.Cons: Stripped down version of the WRT3200ACM, does not have parental controls and other features that I need in a router. If you need parental controls or other features then I highly recommend spending extra to get the WRT32000ACM, I just ordered that one and will be sending the WRT32X back when the new one arrives.

Good and reliable
Very simple to use. Good quality mid to high range unit. Have used a lot worse over the year. So far very reliable.

Super simple and easy to set up
Set it up about 2 weeks ago and love it. Really fast and no dropped signal. Haven’t gotten around to hooking up the killer switch yet but I plan too.
